Looks like a wash out tomorrow against SA. Bad news as this is one we should win

Floods forecast for Southampton tomorrow
In reply to Conorboy
Nuh worry
Nurse knew it was going to rain so he shored up the NRR
In reply to Conorboy
Shhh! We must be lucky as we will be getting the point. SA always gave nightmares to Windies.
In reply to Halliwell
It doesnt matter. The game against AUS they must have got those 2 points.
It will become difficult for Windies if the game is a wash out tomorrow as next few games will be with difficult sides such as ENG, NZ, IND, Bangla. Even Afghan can shock them.
It will become more difficult for SA if the game is a washout. NZ will get in good position for 4th spot.
In reply to darthvader
Luckily we enjoyed, actually reveled, when we briefly topped the tables.
In reply to darthvader
Not in world cup games
In reply to silver
What WC games? You dont remember the havoc ABD created in last WC against we?
The head to head record in WC against SA is:
SA - 4, WI - 2.
In reply to darthvader
Well Lara put them out of a few world cup matches
In reply to silver
Its not Laras generation any more. Even they defeated Laras team in 2007. We lost to SA in all our last 3 outings in WC.
In reply to Conorboy
Good, so West Indies will earn a point they would most likely not earn.
Not a disaster.. stil 6 games to go. Need to win 4 i think.
Finishing in the top 6 would be a great achievement for a team ranked about 10.

4 wins against?
I dont think Windies can win against Eng, Ind, Bangla.
They must win against SL, Afghan and NZ. NZ is not an easy team to beat. They must even pull a win against Bangla. That many miracles are not possible for this dis-organized team.
Its easy to beat SA rather than Bangla and NZ.
In reply to darthvader
WI CAN and have beaten England and India. Carry your negative elsewhere
Weather forcast improved a little... maybe a result is possible
In reply to darthvader Mr. Half Empty, those sides have tuff games coming up!
What improvement? The weather forecast is terrible for today.
To trek down to Southampton or not to, that is the question.
Decision decisions....
In reply to NineMiles
We pretend a lot. We pretend we have better record against SA in WC. We pretend weather is good.
In reply to darthvader
So, should I set my alarm or not?
In reply to NineMiles
Doesn't look good this morning.
At least the Rose Bowl has good drainage, so we may squeeze in a T20I between showers.
In reply to mikesiva
Its better if a match is a washout rather than a T20. Windies have terrible T20 record from last 1 year. DLS also gave negative results for Windies.
In reply to mikesiva
Afternoon it is more terrible. Nonstop heavy rain forecast.
In reply to mikesiva
The forecast is for light rain throughout the day with a light breeze.

Well goliath lives in Southampton so he can tell us what's happening outside his window.
Here in London it's persistent rain, English style nagging rain that would stop cricket from being played.
Not looking good. A bad day for cricket.
2 washouts on the cards this week. Rain cursed we rather than SA.
In reply to darthvader
Rain might wash out everything for a few days
So the grief might be shared
Good for Afghanistan
In reply to Halliwell
It looks better in Southampton on the telly than it does here in London.
It well cold, though. Typical English summer!
Reminds me of the chilly June day we watched Middlesex play West indies at Lords.
Lights on. ..at 10.45 am!
