Of age in this WC. Good enough pace, line and length. Left arm, accuracy, bounce. Very fit. Enjoy the fruits of your labor Cottrell, and keep going from strength to strength. He should be a fixture in all formats for Windies. What do you guys think?

Sheldon Cottrell is coming
Happy for him, well deserved, hard worker.

He has been good, no doubt. How many wickets did he take in the last first class season? He would have to displace one of Gabriel, Roach, Holder, Aljo, Thomas, and Paul in tests. Which would you slot him in for and why? Probably Aljo, as he is injured.
will make some money in T20.

Left arm variety, fit, and soon Roach will be over the hill. New blood is always good.

Sheldon will be 30 in the next two months.
Kemar turns 31 this month.

For many athletes its not really the chronological age that catches up, sometimes their body lets them down.
In reply to RonaldM 31 is now prime!
happy for Cottrell. I quite like the lad.

Good man to have in a battle. Can't remember him ever having injury problems.

About five minutes before Cottrell took The Catch Michael Holding was talking about the present WI fast bowlers and saying, I believe, that their fielding and agility was not the best.
Full disclosure: I was not listening keenly because I was not really in agreement. I believe he 'jokingly' identified Croft as the least agile of the 1980's WI pacemen.
Maybe Cottrell heard him, because as if to put the discussion to rest, five minutes later Cottrell takes The Catch.

Cricketers or sportsmen in general have a way in showing up commies.you can see the way Cottrell moves and know he is a proud athlete. I feel he has a great career ahead, in all formats of the game. Good luck to him.
