American tourists vanish at sea while jet skiing in Barbados: Police

Authorities are searching for a pair of tourists from New Jersey who vanished while jet skiing in Barbados, police said Tuesday.

Oscar Suarez, 32, and Magdalena Devil, 25, disappeared Monday at around 2:30 p.m. after renting a jet ski at Holetown Beach on the island’s western coast, according to police. They were both wearing life jackets at the time.

In the meantime, what's going on here?

The linked article is some 8 hours old, yet no prior mention here.

We need a Bajan version of the Sarge who posts everything Trini here.

Careful Drapsey. Better to die in low crime Ja lol where the cause will be the well know and familiar gunshot. Don't leave your family to grieve in perpetual mourning while seeking closure. big grin

Not at all necessary. We just assume crime is rampant.

However, when the rare incident occurs in BIM, that's news worthy.

Putting aside any human factors....this is bringing back memories of a friend Tiger a jet ski operator who disappeared years ago in that same area. Another instance was a guy reporting seeing a "sea monster " 15 years ago in that area...it was so hilarious at that time I wrote a song about it.

Sharknado 5 - Barbados

Sharknado spawns off the coast of Barbados devouring 2 tourists and a jet ski. The only hope left for the natives is an elite group of Flying Fish.

camos 2019-06-30 02:27:16

so the sharks not even spit out the machines?
