No team gives up the unbeaten record willingly . They were beaten by the English fair and square. The English had everything to loose, and played hard. The short boundary was unfavourable to the indian spinners, and the batsmen capitalized. Then when time to bat, they could not negotiate Archer and Woakes...that was the difference. Trust me, semis and finals will not have a 59 meter boundary.
