Malinga at this stage of his career is no pace to talk about.

Shai is just afraid to get out and when this happens you usually don't put the bad ball away. See how he jumped on the free hit.

Yup, been playing airy fairy drives away from his body outside his off-stump. Been creeping into his game, but with such a brilliant coaching staff, one would think this would be noticed and worked on.

Hope is batting too early, after bending for 3oo balls or more.
He is yet to put his feet up in this series, after fielding first.

Hope is not the first and will not be the last.
No excuses.

Hope is sometimes too tentative when batting and when you're in this mood you will make batting errors and can't put away the bad ball.

I think that's three consecutive matches. Don't even think you can do it intentionally.

I would like to see him batting down the order, especially since he is not the Pride, Trident or CWI test or T20 keeper.

Hope should give up Keeping or opening , He cannot do both

I have promoted Shai here. But he is beginning to play de ass. I don't support consistent failures at all. Three in a row tells me you are not learning and progressing.

With two other competent wicketkeepers in the team we should free up our best batsman from those duties especially when we field first.

Yes, Hope appears to be suffering from the fatigues of being so active throughout the opposition's innings.

Thats what I am trying to say.
Before he can refresh after the inning's break, he is batting.
A good analyses is to compare his batting stats when CWI bats first or second.

I say so too....why overwork one man...the best bats in the team

We have Ambris and Pooran. Maybe they should share the keeping duties among the 3 of them. I agree that he cannot do both especially over this kind of tournament.

Hope cannot bat later down the order because he takes too long to get on with things and is not a naturally free scorer. If Hope is looked at as the best batsman in the team, then they need to keep him at #3 and find someone else to keep wickets.

Isn't Hetmyer a keeper too?
