This resembles the PATTERRSON RECOMMENDATION EXCEPT FOR THE SCRAPING OF THE PRESENT BOARD. They said all along that they are not going to scrap the Board and hand over cricket to some other body.

frankly :

Do you think that because of the present structure of the leadership of West Indies Cricket, that the players are not performing on the field as they ought to? When each player is selected, does he or she says to him of herself or among each other, "this 111 year old structure does not allow me to go on the field and play to win. I need a different captain in order for me to play better cricket. The spin bowler is not effective therefore I as a batsman cannot score runs. The batsman at the other end is doing his own thing therefore I will see where the ball is going before I respond to his call. The fast bowler is bowling too many bumpers against the opponent therefore I cannot concentrate on my own batting. If I had better coaches, I would not drop so many catches. If I bowl, bat, field better, The 111 year old structure will claim the success I may obtain., therefore when the structure changes, I will do better."
If the players do not perform, they are not in a position to demand a change in the structure of West Indies Cricket.If the team is not winning, there is nothing to sell to the investors . If the players do not take pride in their performances, there is nothing to showcase to would be sponsors and supporters. What is the new structure going to market"
I am curious to know what is in the WEHBY report. The WICB never said it would be made public. However, could it be that what this new administration is taking into consideration the contents therof? Again I say the actions of this Board resemble what is coming out of the recommendations of the Patterson report, except for the handing over of the management of cricket to a different body.

IS DUE TO THE FACT THAT ITS OCCUPANTS
ARE STRIKEN WITH PLANTATION
MENTALITY SYNDROME , IN THIS
INSTANCE , AKA PMS .

described how WE got to where WE
CURRENTLY ARE TODAY .Interestingly

factually produce evidence that what
I have stated is a Figment of my Imagination .

WE got to where WE are . There are
2 salient factors that propelled Our
Players to Dominate International
Cricket .
1. DUE TO THE PROXIMITY OF OUR
REGION GEOGRAPHICALLY ; MOST OF OUR
PLAYERS WERE EMPLOYED PLAYING LEAGUE
& COUNTY CRICKET IN ENGLAND .
2. THE INTERNATIONAL TOUR SCHEDULE
IN THAT ERA ALLOWED VISITING TEAMS
TO PLAY MATCHES VS COUNTIES &
REGIONAL TEAMS BETWEEN THE TEST
MATCHES . THOSE MANY MATCHES SERVED
TO HARNESS & HONE THE SKILLS OF OUR
PLAYERS AND ALSO MADE THEM SUPREMELY
FIT . DESPITE THE FACT THAT IN THE
REGION THERE WAS NO REGIONAL CRICKET
LEAGUE .
ONE OTHER VERY IMPORTANT POINT WITH
REGARD TO TOURING TEAMS IN THAT ERA
IS THE FACT THAT TOURING TEAMS GOT
ACCLIMATIZED TO THE PITCHES ; THE
BOUNCE OF THE BALL ; AND THE
WEATHER.
THE DEATH KNELL OF WEST INDIES
CRICKET STARTED WHEN ENGLAND DECIDED
TO LIMIT OVERSEAS PLAYERS FROM
PLAYING IN ENGLAND .
This obviously had a more severe impact on the competitiveness of Our
players who played Cricket in England when not representing the
Region .
THEN THE ICC DECIDED TO CHANGE THE
INTERNATIONAL CRICKET SCHEDULE , NO
LONGER WOULD TOURING TEAMS PLAY
MATCHES BETWEEN THE TEST MATCHES &
THE OTHER FORMATS OF THE GAME .
OBVIOUSLY THESE TWO FACTORS THAT I
HAVE CITED SLOWLY BUT SURELY
WEAKENED THE COMPETITIVENESS OF OUR
PLAYERS IN THE INTERNATIONAL ARENA .
HISTORY INFORMS US THAT THE PEOPLE
IN THE WICBC SAT ON THEIR ASSES AND
DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING .
Ouite frankly THEY failed to fully
understand the impact these 2 very
important factors would have on the
competitiveness of our Players in
International Cricket .
ROUGHLY 8 YEARS AGO IT DAWNED ON
THE INCOMPETENT PEOPLE IN THE WICBC
THAT THEY NEEDED TO HAVE A REGIONAL
CRICKET LEAGUE .
BTW THE 111 YEAR OLD STRUCTURE OF
THE WORST INTERNATIONAL CRICKET
BOARD IS STILL IN VOGUE .

There are several examples of where some of those Committees could be merged...
If you have a Cricket Committee why aren't all things cricket related dealt with as agenda items at that Committee:
NOCs
Umpires & Referees
International Fixtures
Why do you need a HRD Committee AND an Executive Performance Review Committee?
Audit, Risk & Compliance AND Finance - surely, at least for a supposedly cash-strapped organization, those Committees can be merged?
Why do you need three separate Task Forces to review the areas being reviewed:
Governance
Selection Policy
High Performance System Implementation
Can't you put together the best and brightest to review all three?
This looks like a full-blown government bureaucracy...

Please find out what methods were used
by Our Former Players who were in charge of the shortest version of the
Game that made Our Players in this version of the Game , to win 2 consecutive WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS IN
THIS VERSION OF THE GAME .
Now this actually happened it was not
a mirage . When the WICBC got control
of this version of the game , they fired those FORMER PLAYERS .
I am firmly of the opinion that the
WICBC was not happy about the fact
that those former Players Stewardship was so successful .
I have not heard that the WICBC , thanked those Former Players for their Services , or even had a Dinner in their honour for their
Stewardsship of the shortest version
of the game .
WORSE YET THE MANY FRAUDS IN THE
REGION WHO MASQUERADE AS SPORTS
JOURNALISTS HAVE SAID NART A WORD .
I WAS NOT VERY SURPRISED , SINCE
THEY ARE AKIN TO BEING THE WICBC
