Cricket West Indies Is offering a Level One coaching course starting July 18-21 at the Guyana National Stadium.
Here is the offer for the know it all on this message board to put up or shut up,take the course.

How many certified coaches do we have in the Caribbean?
Now the million dollar question: Why have they not made a dent in improving our cricket?
10 million dollar question: Does being certified as a Coach make you a "Coach"?

Good move!!! Some of these West Indies players, even those who are not so literate should sign up for the course.

I know a Jamaican guy who could not read before he had the chance to study for his commercial driver's license. So motivated was he that he passed his test quite comfortably.

In Guyana? Forget it.

Wasn’t it the other day that about 200 people wrote drivers license test and the government issued about 2000 “book” aka license to drive? I might be slightly off on the numbers due to rounding off.

They might not have enuff paper for the coaching certificates they will issue, smile

Every player, actually from Lil ABC, should have had some basic education about the game then proceed forward to rules, techniques, strategies etc.

Sarwan has enrolled for training

A number of current and former cricketers including Ramnaresh Sarwan, Travis Dowlin and Leon Johnson have undertook the foundation courses, which along with child protection and first aid certificates are pre-requisites for coaching course.
