SKERRITT HONEYMOON OVER

Emir 2019-07-12 02:45:52

Dear Ricky,
We expect you will do the right thing and no amount of window dressing will work.

There is only one problem that afflicts WI cricket and every thing that people identify as "problems" are simply symptoms.

The problem affecting our cricket is the structure of the WICBC and you must repeal and replace it with a modern day governance structure. If you do not take steps to do so soon, we will remove you just like we did to Cameroon but this time we won't wait that long.

SKERRITT HOMEYMOON OVER

Homey moon indeed

we will remove you just like we did to Cameroon but this time we won't wait that long.

Who is 'we'?
Are you a board member?
For your information it was the board members who removed Cameron....and that was a result of some back stabbing...by Cameron friendly board members

And the Prez changed.....BUT board members remain the same

The members of the public have no say....they don't even elect local board members

Check what is happening in Tittieland as Ganga and Dinas are battling in court to change the board constitution to allow more fairness in the local board elections

The Public pressure forced the hands of the directors and we will continue the struggle to take back our cricket.

I am in total agreement with what You
have stated . In fact since 2003 in this Forum I have consistently stated
that :

CHANGE MUST START AT THE TOP & THEN

WORK DOWNWARDS TO THE REGIONAL

CRICKET BOARDS & THEN TO THE

PLAYERS.

In my opinion , the WICBC needs to
ask the ICC for a Hiatus of 3 years from International Cricket so that
West Indies Cricket can undergo Serious Structural Changes at Every Level .

GOVERNMENTS MUST HAVE REPRESENTATION

ON THE WICBC ; FORMER PLAYERS MUST

HAVE REPRESENTATION ON THE BOARD &

CURRENT PLAYERS MUST ALSO HAVE

REPRESENTATION ON THE WICBC & THE

REGIONAL CRICKET BOARDS .

It is an absolute disgrace that in its 111 years old existence ; the
People in the WICBC have bluntly
refused to change its Structure .

What is even worst is the freaking
fact that it commissioned some Reports , and did absolutely NOTHING
Regarding the findings of those Reports .

APART FROM ITS STRUCTURAL ISSUES ;

THE WICBC & ITS REGIONAL CRICKET

BOARDS . THINK OF THEMSELVES AS

BEING LORDS & OUR PLAYERS THEIR

SERFS .

To put an end to the B.S ; which fosters a palpable gulf between those who govern & Our Players . Players must have representation in
the WICBC & The Regional Cricket Boards .

I want representations from the Governments , because apart from their input ; I expect them to have a Financial Interest in West Indies
Cricket .

Anytime Our Players are engaged playing another Country in the International Cricket Arena ; I look at the Stats, of Our Team's Opponents , and compare them to Our Players Stats.

THE DIFFERENCE IS EXCEEDINGLY STARK;

AND THEY INFORM ME THAT BEFORE A

BALL HAS BEEN BOWLED ; OUR PLAYERS

ARE MORE THAN LIKELY TO BE DEFEATED.

The stark Truth is that the WICBC ,
aka The Worst International Cricket
Board in the Commonwealth Must Change .

Its Members seem blithely unaware of
the fact that :

CRICKET IS A VERY SERIOUS BUSINESS ;

THAT REQUIRES THE BUSINESS OF

CRICKET BE TREATED VERY SERIOUSLY .

Case in point:

I am sure you remember a very young Darren Ganga after his first tour to South Africa- he was in awe and shock to see how the Saffis was so well prep with superior facilities, technical expertise and the kind of things they were doing to harness their young talent.

Well not from the traditional media and you know dat, but a few regional Prime Ministers did squeeze some balls to orchestrate behind the scenes removal of Cameron. (Check the FB page for WI cric supporters)

Look, I agree with you the various publics in the region are too relaxed and don't do enough such as boycotts, public shaming etc, but that is why we must keep the struggle going.

I did my lil part- I placed intense moral pressure on a director from a certain country I wont disclose.

The TRUTH is that most , if not all
the people in the Region who claim to be Sports Journalists are akin to being the WICBC Lap Dogs .

The very fact that they have been neutered by the WICBC makes them willing Tools of the WICBC & the Regional Cricket Boards .

NONE OF THESE FRAUDS HAVE HAD THE

TESTICULAR FORTITUDE TO TELL THEIR

EMPERORS THAT THEY AINT WEARING

CLOTHES .

It is this unholy alliance that is
also at the heart of West Indies
Cricket Problems . The WICBC commissioned several Reports , yet
NONE of these Frauds has had the Balls to ask their Emperors about
the Reports that were commissioned .
