A Viewpoint

It's not you who won or you who lost. It's those guys on the field. If you really feel you won or "your" team won ..ha ha.. or if you really feel that you lost and are despondent then you need a whole paradigm shift in your thinking.
Go sit in the stand near the steps where the cricketers go up and down, to and from the field, and see(make sure you have lots of money cause those seats are expensive). If you aren't known to them you'd be lucky to get a cursory nod and grunt if you call out to them.
When "your" team wins they don't call on you to celebrate. They go out and celebrate themselves. So if you have great thoughts of pride circulating in your head about your winning team, just know it's in your head only. Unless stupid people want to belittle themselves for your sake. When you take the field and perform, then maybe, we'll bow a little at your reputation.
Do you care if your country lose at some sport you don't care about? Very little, usually. Just a tinge of regret that lasts for, maybe 10 minutes. Shouldn't it be like that for a game you like too? Don't be too stressed out by other people's performance and whose daily habits(which translate into performance) we have no control over. The game is done and I am brought back to reality with, bills, family, an earache and all the other stuff that makes up life. Just a viewpoint. I won't defend these views so if anyone replies chances are I won't. So I don't mind in the least if this thread shimmies up into cyber space in record time.
