Our best batsman was Holder.. averaged over 67 with the bat yet he choosing to bat at 8!
Holder need to bat in the top 6

Agreed. I think Holder should bat six or seven. Hetmyer at seven is madness! He should bat higher.
A spinner could have come in at eight.

What’s happened to Braithwaite?!
He’s never been the most attractive batsman to watch but he used to be one of our most consistent players.
Maybe Shiv’s son should be given an opportunity soon.

The valves just proves that based on those centuries at Headingly both Hope and Brathwaite will be untouchable for the conceivable future.
Other less favoured sons,particularly those with the wrong passports,are usually about one failure away from being dropped.
