Trump’s interaction with the foreign leader included a “promise” that was regarded as so troubling that it prompted an official in the U.S. intelligence community to file a formal whistleblower complaint with the inspector general for the intelligence community, said the officials, speaking on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the matter publicly.
It was not immediately clear which foreign leader Trump was speaking with or what he pledged to deliver, but his direct involvement in the matter has not been previously disclosed. It raises new questions about the president’s handling of sensitive information and may further strain his relationship with U.S. spy agencies. One former official said the communication was a phone call.

Intelligence chief won't turn over whistleblower complaint to House committee.
On Friday night, Schiff went public about the matter in dramatic fashion, announcing that he had issued a subpoena for a classified whistleblower complaint that he charged was being illegally withheld to shield President Donald Trump. On Tuesday, Schiff said Maguire has refused to comply with the subpoena.

Calm down folks. All Trump did was promise Putin some rakes so that he can remove leaves from the floors of Siberian forests and prevent wildfires.
Either that or he promised to lift sanctions against Russia and Russian oligarchs so that adoptions of Russian kids can resume.

If this democratic Congress love their Country, they should forget about
getting elected and controlling the Senate in 2020. Impeach his backside
now, He is not worthy of a second term, as a matter of fact, he shouldn't
be there in the first place. At least the American people, who sent them
to Congress with a majority, would see that they are doing the job they
sent them in 2018 to do.

The way this entire situation is playing out will provide justification not that it will be accepted - for Comey and McCabe to respond the way they did when they found out that the President was a potential Russian spy. There was no way the normal channels of complaint would have resulted in any speedy and necessary action. Cuz right now the Whitehouse, Justice Department and the President is running a cover up.
