TKR waiting on Narine
Defending champs still not certain when all-rounder will return
Beaten for the first time in midweek, and frustrated by the weather on Saturday, the Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR) will be hoping to get Sunil Narine right before they take on their next assignment in the 2019 Hero Caribbean Premier League.
Last week was a frustrating one for the back-to-back defending champions who lost in a Super Over to the St Kitts and Nevis Patriots on Tuesday in St Kitts and then were thwarted by rain on Saturday night in St Lucia, their match against the Zouks ending in a no-result with just 12.2 overs bowled. In both those matches, TKR played without off-spinning all-rounder Narine who has been nursing a long-standing figure injury on his bowling hand.
