In reply to Chrissy
Its a doozy, lots of people implicated, lawyer up
Mob boss shaking down a foreign leader in a war and holding an arms holdup over his head.
Wowwwww
Here is the equivalent of the 18 mins. Gap in the Nixon tapes.
White House 'tried to hide Trump Ukraine call transcript'
In reply to Runs
Hearing on the way
In reply to Chrissy
The Don..
"The most devastating aspect of this rough transcript is that Trump didnt realize how devastating it would be for him," Republican Max Boot writes in Opinions.
Sir he did not know because he does not read, like many of his supporters
In reply to Runs
nitro said there was nothing there, did he not read the transcript?
In reply to black
I listened to the first part of the DNI testimony and my first question is. You involved in intelligence and you know how these things unfold. You receive this complaint and your first move instead of following the law is to go to people implicated in he complaint to find out what to do. Then you move to someone else implicated in the complaint at the DOJ to provide a ruling. And you at no point did not think that a particular outcome would have been achieved. I think this dude even though he can explain his actions but it was designed to achieve a particular outcome of providing cover for the administration. However that will omly come out under cross examination by a lawyer. Not under questioning by congress.
In reply to carl0002
WH and DOJ muzzled him
In reply to Runs
He must have known that would happen. But how is it that he could think anything else would have happened given the Whithouse claiming privilege even on people not working in the administration. Its preposterous that his first actions were to not follow the law but to turn the information over to the people who are the objects of the Whistleblower complaint. A mean this did not enter into his thought process whatsoever. Makes no sense. He is spinning a technical lie.
In reply to carl0002
He was not impressive, I wonder how he got that far?Sycophant and possibly compromised, the truth shall come out.
In reply to Runs
The DNI chief went directly to Trump, the person being accused of wrongdoings, with the complaint.
When asked a yes or no question about speaking to Trump, he invoked executive privilege. That to me is an unequivocal, yes.
In reply to black
Agreed, this guy is trying to keep his job amidst numerous criminal, unpatriotic behavior
In reply to Runs
The man got 36 year in the military. 32 as special ops and you tell me in all his 36 year I wonder if he would send intelligence to his adversary for vetting and what would be the result of it. He may be found out but not in this setting. They need a lawyer to question him for more than 5 minutes.
He made a big speech on how he is not partisan and then turn around and be partisan.
Jokiest whistleblower ever
In reply to carl0002
In reply to DAVE400
DT appointed Republican IG Atkinson found it credible, laugh louder
In reply to carl0002
It's impossible to get anything substantial out of him when he is hiding behind executive privilege.
In reply to black
Its a mob, criminal organization.
Do i sense a bit of frustration on this thread?
I have a solution...just start another one
In reply to Runs
So...the whistleblower quoting George Stephanopoulos...lol...
He ain't hear the phone call..he heard of it...he makes 9 pages of inferences...trying to create a case.
In the meantime Trump releases a very innocuous transcript.
Dis done..
In reply to DAVE400
It was investigated by the DT appointed IG lifelong GOPer Atkinson and found.
Wait for it
Wait for it
Wait for it
CREDIBLE
Now this
NEW: The former Ukrainian prosecutor, who first floated allegations that Joe Biden pressured the country to fire its top prosecutor, said today that Hunter Biden did not violate any Ukrainian laws.
Look for another talking point Donny
In reply to Runs
Donny already committed to this. You think he will be deterred?
In reply to carl0002
Here's one way we know the whistleblower is credible: his/her account of the July 25 call is spot-on.
The Acting DNI colluded with the WH lawyers, 45 and Barr and crew to squash the Whistleblowers complaint.
Those are the facts, I expect to see many in orange jumpsuits if the Dems do not fcuk up this one
In reply to Runs
Trump's threats to staff at the US UN Mission will be prime time news.
Lock up this madman.
The end is nigh!! He is losing it more and more.
In reply to DAVE400
It is IMPOSSIBLE for me to have anything but CONTEMPT for you.
In reply to Dukes
you have restored my faith
In reply to sudden
What did I say or not say that caused you to lose faith in the first place or what did others say or not say?
In reply to Runs
Maybe so, BUT the appearance of impropriety should be avoided at all costs. When youre in the govt and youre dealing with foreign govts there are many ethical traps you are advised to avoid. This is what got HC in trouble with the voters.
In reply to Dukes
your previous support of Gayle and Sarwan and latterly Hety
but you have more than made up for it in that one post
In reply to Larr Pullo
Agreed
In reply to Larr Pullo
The problem is that Trump and Guiliani are the least credible to be concerned about and associated with investigating impropriety. And Trump using the Government for his own personal benefit, meanwhile blocking every and all legal and proper oversight of his own impropriety. Meanwhile its been established that nothing improper went on.
In reply to carl0002
Mah brother I not swearing for any of them. All kinds of influence peddling does go on in this town. All kinds of favors are repaid by placing close friends and relatives on Corporate boards. Money in an envelope and all that. Its a sweet gig if you could get it.
In reply to Chrissy
As disgusting as that is, the laughter after he made those comments were even more disturbing.
This guy is a mobster.
In reply to Runs
That laughter was truly disturbing especially knowing what it meant and who that sort of talk coming from. If the truth be known Trump is a lot closer to treason than the Whistleblower so wouldn't it be funny if he is laughing at his own demise.
In reply to Dukes
Contempt from a fool?
Always welcome..
In reply to DAVE400
You remarked as above and yet called someone else a fool? Wonders never cease a rass.

Dave is a joker.
10:40 a.m. EST: The White House confirms, for the first time, a major allegation in the whistleblower complaint, that the transcript of Trumps phone call with Ukraines president was moved to a separate classified database. A senior official told CNN that the decision for the highly unusual move came at the direction of lawyers for the National Security Council
In reply to Runs
Lock them up!!!
In reply to black
This is like the Airplane movie, a bunch of bungling comedians
In reply to Runs
The biggest comedian is the yellow hair fella.
In reply to Runs
Trumpty Dumpty had a great fall.
It's was fun while it lasted.
I only hope the Democrats know how to untangle this 500 lb Gorilla which is up 400 lbs from yesterday.
And don't stop and think Trump is done yet. By the weekend he will have his plan and come out swinging. I hope they are prepared and know his MO.
They are bailing and resigning
