Playing tests at home is the way for the players to build confidence in playing in familiar conditions, its also a good time to introduce young players, so irrespective of how man tests are played overseas, home tests are needed for the continual growth of the game in the WI. I pray this is just because 2020 is a world cup year and not an attempt to cut out tests because they are not as profitable as T20s and ODIs.
