SORRY POORAN- MASSA MENTALITY AFFLICTS SOME FANS

Emir 2019-11-12 23:36:01

Dear Nicholas,

Please ignore the "fans" in here who took a 4 second video made by dodgy crooks and have all but pronounced you guilty.

You see Nick, many of our people are still afflicted with Massa syndrome- they try to bring down their own and who knows what motivation the people that made that video has but we shall soon find out.

Keep on doing well and I know its hard, but ignore the massa lovers, they will be soon be disappointed.

Can you please send another message to Pooran...tell him to ignore the four match ban even though he admitted to what 'fans' and dodgy crooks did to him..I hope you tell him that Massa syndrome ent had squat to do with him tampering wid de people ball, and for what....

The only people disappointed this morning are you and Pooran.

Khaga 2019-11-13 10:57:51

Pooran afraid of massa..He admitted..

Drapsey 2019-11-13 11:19:02

In reply to Emir

Pooran's (admitted) action must be some form of protest for being relieved of his accustomed wicketkeeping duties.

With gloves on he would never have had the opportunity.

doosra 2019-11-13 11:27:08

Pooran scratching
TT defending
Emir blowing
Massa banning

Emir 2019-11-13 11:37:25

In reply to granite

Yes, it is sad.

I do not understand the plea, we need to understand more and what exactly transpired. Fans must support players until the full truth comes out.

Some "fans" were all to happy too gloat about Pooran, and that is wrong.

Pooran's parents converted from Hinduism to Jehova's Witness in Trinidad and Pooran, who grew up as a Christian is a deeply religious person judging form his most recent match interview where he praised "his lord Jesus Christ."

We may not share his religious beliefs, but a young man who is devoted to his faith, and one who follows the Holy Prophet Jesus Christ of Nazareth, won't do such as thing.

I stay skeptical of his "guilty" plea.

I know some folks in India were upset at him for his faith, especially when he was in his ancestral city of Lucknow- his ancestors were form Eastern UP with Lucknow being the main city.

He is now banned for 4 games and this is sad, no one should gloat about it.

powen001 2019-11-13 12:00:05

case closed.

Maybe, just maybe he was following instructions

I stay skeptical of his "guilty" plea.

Maybe he followed the Coach's and Captain's instructions.

Even better, Jimmy Adams'.

Hey Emir. What Pooran did and admitted to is shameful. You are only compounding it by defending his actions. Then you talking some crap about his religious faith? So because he is a Christian he cannot sin?

So shameful a West Indian caught cheating against Afghanistan?

First thing I thought (Bancroftt?)but let’s leave that alone.

Larr Pullo 2019-11-13 12:48:28

Pooran was probably bored and decided to play around with the ball is all I can say. These players should know by now that there are cameras on them all the time.

doosra 2019-11-13 13:06:14

Polly will surely lament this ill behaviour big grin

if i was you i would be shame, how can you spring to his defense without all the facts, is it a case in your book that TnT cricketers can do no wrong?

you would be wise to examine all evidence before passing judgement

Who are usually the biggest crooks?
Usually he Bible, Quran toting "fanatics" and the Hindu "swamis" in fake disguise.

What dis gotto do with dat ball tampering? Afridi would invoke Allah before he goes and eat balls.

I know some folks in India were upset at him for his faith, especially when he was in his ancestral city of Lucknow- his ancestors were form Eastern UP with Lucknow being the main city.

Why this complex among some converted (forcibly or not) ones? Get your identity straight..
Remember Hinduism does not care who or how you worship. Non exclusive clause!!

goofballs 2019-11-13 19:41:39

Disclaimer: I like the kid's batting and was following him since he was 16 or so.

I know what happened.
They are so jealous, envious of the greatest Trini ever born that they ordered him to do a crime for the team and be caught and be banned.
One less great Trini.
Dem spite allyuh. lol lol lol

A crime is a crime is a crime.
Do de time. As simple as that.
Go back to any religious teaching and look see where they tell you in de name of the Lord that that was ok.

People like Emir is like many parents of criminals who indulge them, they can't do wrong; don't admonish them or hold them to responsibility for their actions, so they grow up in the world thinking they can walk on top of others, rob, rape, erc.

You are UNBELIEVABLE - two years ago when the Leeward Islander Kieran Powell scored 3 centuries in the Super 50 and was praising "his Lord Jesus Christ" you had a major issue with him bringing HIS Christian beliefs on TV at HIS post-match interview. Now you are positing that because Pooran "praised his Lord Jesus Christ" he must be innocent of ball tampering in India with a billion people watching him do the dirty shock shock shock shock shock

You people really are the worst hypocrites that i am thankful i will never meet!

Draps, look all I am saying is this: Nicholas is a religious young man, whether we share his belief or not, is irrelevant. It is not within his character to cheat and the video proves nothing.

I am shocked and really disappointed at some of the comments directed against for my stance here.

goofballs 2019-11-14 01:46:46

Ok, so I might have been derailed by all this focus on religiosity.
As I said, there is really no book that will tell us it is ok to cheat, rob, destroy, etc.
It is the culture, silly! Many mistake that with religion.

I have been very embarrassed and outraged with the Under 19 team culture over past few years with Mankading a poor and upcoming, superior Zimbabwe team couple years ago.
Then that ball eating, I mean holding incident. Who does that to an opponent?
Culture of thieving and cheating sometimes make people feel it is normal, ok to transgress (ir)regardless of what Jehovah or whichever God said.

So, let us not bring in religion as character reference of a violator.
