Your head needs an examination, these 2 should at the very least be charged for disorderly conduct. wink

Corentyne sisters in viral video slapped with ten charges…

The two sisters in a viral video on social appeared in the New Amsterdam Magistrates court where they were slapped with ten charges.

28-year-old, Hemwattie Singh and 22-year-old, Yasminie Ramsew both pleaded not guilty to all the charges when it was read to them by magistrate Peter Hugh.

Singh was charged with damage to property, disorderly behavior and two counts of assaulting a police officer.

Her sister Ramsew was charged with resisting arrest, damage to property, dangerous driving, failure to report an accident, failure to stop after an accident, disorderly behavior and assaulting a police officer.

The incidents took place at the Rose Hall Police Outpost on the Corentyne.

Police prosecutor Rudolph Poliah objected to bail on the charges of resisting arrest and assaulting a police officer noting that the behavior is prevalent in society where police officers are being disrespected while executing their duties.

When asked by the magistrate why he should grant them bail, the sisters told the court that they were beaten by a female rank at the outpost.

The sisters were granted bail in the sum of $120,000 and will return to the Whim magistrates’ court on January 06, 2020.
