Everyone on here does
In reply to Curtis
With the US
.
Barbadoes is the only Caribbean Country that has dual Citizen ship agreement with the US.
In reply to Dan_De_Lyan
A fool and his citizenship are soon parted.
All ah dem tell you how them LOOOOVE them 'Country' but gave up their citizenship for a fistful of dollars.
Or is it a perceived ideal.
In reply to Ayenmol
Why are you here, Abysmal?
Freedom to practice witnessing I suppose. Or maybe you haven't yet qualified for US citizenship.
In reply to Drapsey
Uhm, guy who named himself after a curtain....what exactly is the point of that post?
In reply to Ayenmol
One of your better questions, Abysmal.
I was wondering about the point of yours, so I posted one on the same level.
In reply to Drapsey
Or just being the drape you are, removing the ability to see clearly.
You sure do have a knack to dampen the light in the room.
Byw...my name is Ayenmol...it means nutten soft.
Abysmal is the feeling you get when you read one of my takedowns....doh confuse the two.
Ayenmol is what I am.
Abysmal is how I render your post.
Help me decipher the name you gave yourself...
In reply to Ayenmol
All ah dem tell you how them LOOOOVE them 'Country' but gave up their citizenship for a fistful of dollars.
Or is it a perceived ideal
But yet you are benefiting from America.
Your hypocrisy never cease to amaze.
In reply to black
How am I a hypocrite to benefit from America?
In reply to Ayenmol
So you want to live here and enjoy the benefits but it's beneath you to become a citizen?
In reply to black
Still working out an answer?
Like I keep telling you...you keep calling Trump a liar obfuscate etc...but you keep adopting those very tactics he uses.
Using negative words towards others that do not at all apply, or you can not even begin to state how it aplies.
But hoping it will change perception.
What's the term for people like that?
In reply to black
That makes me a hypocrite?
Or exactly what I am?
A permanent resident.
Is there a requirement that I be a citizen?
In reply to Ayenmol
You cannot figure out the hypocrisy in my answer?
In reply to black
Oh yes...I can see all the hypocrisy in your answer.
Moron.
The hypocrisy comes from people like you who speak of how much you love the Country of your birth and speak of how you want it to be a better place and you can't wait to go back...yet you give up Citizenship for an ideal....not any real tangible things....because I have all the same rights as you ... save for 2 or so.
That is given me by the US... am not a hypocrite to take it and appreciate my standing.
Yet how many times do you see me pounding my chest about DA?
Or involving myself with decisions made by those living there?
In reply to Ayenmol
You make the silliest of analogies, Trump is not facing impeachment because he engages in trivial stuff.
Is there a requirement that I be a citizen?
Anyway, you want all the benefits but your loyalties lie with your home country but yet you are here, nothing wrong with that?
What would citizenship do to change who you are?
If anything, not being a citizen puts you at a disadvantage.
In reply to black
A bunch of arguments closely associated with grasping at straws.
I did not come to America to be an American....I came to make a certain life for myself.
Permanent Residence gives me all the rights I need.
I do not need to vote....I do not need to own a gun...I do not see myself committing a serious crime....
I do not need a passport of the Nation to feel good about myself.
I was born in DA and that is fine. No need to change...not because am a proud Dominican...I just see no need to be a proud American.
But you all claim your so loyal to your Country of birth then rush to give it up ....
That is the hypocrisy.
Not that everyone who chooses to Naturalize is one.... but those who argue Nationalism while their actions prove otherwise.
In reply to Ayenmol
Do you bring your real life problems here?
You are such a miserable person
In reply to Ayenmol
Dude, you are looking at this the wrong way, it has nothing to with feeling good about having American passport.
You are putting yourself at a disadvantage by not becoming a citizen. If you've lived here long enough, you've earned the right to because citizen. Your permanent resident status can be lifted at anytime.
In reply to Drapsey
Always attacking the man because of his religion, in the name of "freedom", "democracy", etc! Enforced freedom, I suppose.
In reply to black
Hypocrisy.....remember?
But like I said...am not arguing pros and cons..,you said am a hypoccrite....am showing you where the hypocrisy truly lies.
As usual you either dense or cannot argue the very point you make so feign ignorance of the subject.
In reply to nick2020
Umm....huh?
Man just hush.
Or is this a forum for movie reviews or book reviews.
You have nothing to say.....please, just shut up.
In reply to Ayenmol
No but clearly you feel like arguing on every thread you post on.
Carry on.
In reply to Ayenmol
You are totally arguing cons.
For the last time, your hypocrisy lies in the fact that you want to enjoy the benefits without showing allegiance.
In reply to nick2020
Because I have a different point of view...why are you arguing?
In reply to black
That is not hypocrisy...that is a right.
The laws of America specifically gives me that right.
Your hypocrisy lies in your beating your chest for freedom then begrudging those who exercise that freedom!
Move along moron.
In reply to Ayenmol
Do you think living in America is free?
Someone has to shed blood to protect your way of life. All you want to do is enjoying the benefits.
In reply to Ayenmol
READ BETWEEN THE LINES, JACKASS.
YOU ARE TOO GOOD TO BE AMERICAN BUT NOT TOO GOOD TO ENJOY THE BENEFITS.
THAT IS HYPOCRISY.
In reply to black
I was coming here to say the following and saw you wrote this above...sets it up perfectly.
Which is more impactful, a vote or laying down your life for a Country?
In reply to Ayenmol
It's all part of the process, you are not going to lay your life on the line because you are a coward but you can at least participate in the process.
In reply to black
Steeuuupppss. Move along.
Waste of my time.
In reply to Ayenmol
Lost for words?
Jackass!!!
In reply to black
I will leave you with this....
Met a Veteran a couple weeks back.
Wife died six months ago from Cancer.
He himself has Cancer...bout six months to live.
Just moved in to a little one bedroom home...in fact in the process of moving in.
Can't avoid hospice, in pain....no heat in the home and he can't
afford it...his family cant help.
Totally distraught, heart broken and in all sorts of pain and discomfort.
No help in sight.
Tears, anger and resentment.
You won't get the point...some will.
In reply to Ayenmol
Being a hypocrite is well within your right. Doesn't make you any less a hypocrite.
In reply to black
No time for empty words.
That is all you present.
Which war did you fight in?
Do you need to be a Citizen to lay down your life?
You have no idea what freedom means.
Maybe you should move to North Korea....then you won't have to worry about laying down your life or not....they already made the decision for you.
In reply to nick2020
No, claiming someone loves to argue then going on to argue for the sake of arguing is the epitome of hypocrisy.
You come here to argue with me not about any point I made but that I dare make a point that this moron is claiming to be hypocrisy when he can't show hypocrisy than to raise a completely unrelated issue.
Am a Permanent Resident...I do not care to make any other stand than for God's Kingdom!
You all claim to love your Countries to the end while giving up Citizenship and trying to argue it is necessary to procure rights.
Please....
The millions of Americans who live in other Countries as Citizens of the US ...are they hypocrites?
When and if you return to your homeland or any other Country, will you give up your American Citizenship?
You all need to brush up on the meaning of loyalty and Alegiance.
I have stuck to mine...since I made the choice in 1991.
Yours change based on who gives you a penny.
The whole concept of "country" is hypocrisy to begin with - an extension of the concept that some are better than others.
So, hug up your passport(s) and be proud - then turn around and complain that someone was racist or xenophobic to you ...!
Hahahahahaha! Enjoy allyuh "country"!!!!
In reply to nick2020
This is a forum for discussion, isn't it? Ayenmol, in my opinion, lives up to the spirit and intent of the concept of "discussion" more than most here, if not all. Most often, others quickly degenerate into attacking his professed beliefs, rather than the substance of his arguments.
But, wait. Few West Indians ever seriously stick to the real argument ...
In reply to Norm
There is always too far.
In reply to Norm
Lol....you defend me way too much.
But kudos for being an upstanding person.
Them guys can't discuss because any discussion on value renders them impotent.
They are just doing the only things they can.
In reply to nick2020
Too far in speaking truth and destroying moronic views?
In reply to Ayenmol
Folks here seem to think that "truth" is determined by a democratic process - by majority vote. Say it often enough, or get enough backers, and anything could become the "truth"!
So, I have to cast mine too!
I know someone with a Barbadian, British and Canadian passports, dont understand why.
In 1975 I got my first Canadian passport, I got it because of the treatment I received at Heathrow.
I got rid of my Barbadian passport, when it expired.
My best friend have a Canadian and a US, the only time he uses his US passport, is when he is travelling home to the US.
In reply to openning
I don't think I am ur best friend or am i
In reply to openning
Personally, I have no problem with someone moving from one country to another, because the world belongs to all humanity - in my opinion.
The concept of "country" is just an excuse for many of us renege on our responsibility to respect all humans and to not care for the entire world. It amazes me to some of us see it fit to defend any specific country but then turn around and complain about racism, etc.
In reply to Norm
The era of Trump.
They claim to hate him because of it but practice it themselves.
Expected....
In reply to Ayenmol
Ayenmol are you and black gonna sign a peace, cease accord
for Christmas?
In reply to sgtdjones
Two female crabs living in the same hole with no male in sight.
In reply to Courtesy
Well, why don't you give Ayenmol some attention?
In reply to black
I don't have a silver cross to display in front of him.
Lemme see de devil scatter.
But honestly, one of you can play male.
In reply to sgtdjones
As a matter of principle i dont celebrate the holiday...
Or participate in any customs associated with it.
Black?
In reply to Ayenmol
Or participate in any customs associated with it
You see how that silly fella from Utah drastically altered your lifestyle?
In reply to black
I answered for myself....why don't you answer for yourself?
And keep on topic....do you celebrate Christmas? Or participate in it's customs?
In reply to black
Won't even bother with that ignorance.
Are you doing anything for Christmas?
Or you gonna continue to go with the hypocrisy and contradiction that is your existence?
In reply to Ayenmol
Christmas, other holidays and birthdays are not a big deal to me, I don't need anything, just give me a card and I'm happy.
In reply to black
What card? Why would you want a card about someone and something you don't believe in?
Do you accept gifts?
Do you give gifts?
I won't waste my time waiting for a response.
More hypocrisy.
Whatever the masses are doing is what you do.
End of story.
A hypocrite is also a coward. Always taking the path of least resistance.
In reply to Ayenmol
Do you accept gifts?
Do you give gifts?
Every time I pose a question, I know What the response is going to be.
I live in a Christian society and as such, I do not seek to convert, my beliefs are my own.
In reply to black
Definition of a coward.
I also live in that Soceity, but stand up for my beliefs....not the right to cast a ballot behind a curtain.
Guaranteed I get more adversity for what I believe.
Whereas you always go with whatever allows you to be comfortable.
Look up coward.
I go out and knock on doors knowing that am going to be asked the question....you scared to even refrain from joining something you don't believe.
You want to call people names that apply to you more than them!
Delusional hack you.
In reply to Courtesy
I reckon no peace accord for the holidays.
In reply to sgtdjones
I am having a discussion....am not at War.
I will always be at odds with liars and disengenious people.
Oil and water don't mix.
In reply to Dan_De_Lyan
Bro if you need ten passports, it is your right.
I have a Barbadian citizenship card, which is good, when I am back there.
I dont need a Barbadian passport.
In reply to Norm
I really don't care about the truth and you won't win any wars on the internet.
The dude is a miserable person. Verbose and miserable. Turns a 1 page topic into 4
In reply to black
Address?
In reply to nick2020
You hate someone because they verbose....and am miserable?
You hate to see people in discussion but come to a forum for discussion to complain about someone who enjoys discussing.
But am the miserable one?
You good boy...there are a few things that blind people...hate and jealousy.
In reply to nick2020
Come on. Unfair comment.
In reply to Norm
The man just jealous that am what he wishes to be...
Envy usually turns to hate.
I discuss... I give reason for every position or argument I make.
I don't attack anyone just for posting...only the argument they make....some more than others.
The only person that irritates me just on their actual post is Point....but I don't hate the man or even disagrees...just the posting style is redundant and comical.
No offense Point....
In reply to Ayenmol
I cannot understand why people who claim to value and uphold democracy would attack someone because of their religion.
As for supporting an argument by either expanding on concepts or reducing scattered tidbits to principle - a rare thing in these parts! Instead, you get tons and tons of regurgitated rhetoric, quoting, stereotyping and even chest-beating!
No end of laffs here, I tell you!
In reply to Norm
The sad thing is most do not understand which one of these they are.
Tragic.
In reply to Ayenmol
I don't usually come on here for arguments.
Just to say I appreciate your perspectives.
However, wrt green card, a word of caution:
Don't let Black provoke you to "konx" him in the head or box his ears. Then you might have to move on and kiss green card goodbye.
Also DWI is a major one, I was told, but I make no assumptions regarding people imbibing.
In reply to Dan_De_Lyan
So Guyana is non existent in that list? Or anything will do?
In reply to goofballs
I hardly drink much less drive under the influence....
My status is fine...if i choose to Naturalize it won't be for love of Country or Nationalism or any right.
Just that it is expensive to get my passport renewed or the cost of renewing the Card.
Rest assured i wont be pledging.
In reply to Ayenmol
Just
Assault.
In reply to goofballs
Well he say he wants to konx me if i knock on his door so...
He better not do that to one of my White sisters....citizen or not he will quickly find out the truth of his alegiance.
In reply to Norm
I have never attacked Ayenmol because of his religion.
I have attacked him by calling him extremely miserable.
Just today:
12/7/19, 11:00:00 AM
In reply to Chrissy
Greatest? Really?
Accurate quote.
Thing is you are alluding to yourself as the speaker of sense...but 98% of your post on the board is one line sentences:
'Vex them'
'Watch de ride'
'Left dem'
'Jus laugh'
'Kerry yuh skunt'
Etc.
Is that what you call sense?
Now all Chrissy was saying is how great a quote was to her and he came out fists swinging. Called for?
Again, Ayenmol is a miserable so and so who just picks a bunch of fights in almost every thread in the backroom.
In reply to nick2020
Man you already say why you dislike me.
Move on.
I post what i believe is pertinent.
If you want to make yourself the referee of when an issue should be broaached is your perogative.
Not a single thing i said was inappropriate. Every word was true.
But that is the issue you are missing.
You are railing against truth because it makes you uncomfortable since you are in search of a cocoon free of reality.
I do not care what you think about me.
As long as i speak the teuth your words ring hollow.
Of course you do not do this to anyone else...
Thus it is personal.
Ignored.
In reply to Ayenmol
Miserable AND childish
