Is Holder overworked or is he trying to get back at the CWI by bowling shyte?
He should be dropped for last ODI and Romario come in in his place. Khary should also be dropped .

Is Holder just plain tired or is he undermining
In reply to rillo
Holder was one of the few that did not look tired in the second ODI - and he bowled quite well in the middle overs. Why drop him?
In reply to Norm
he trying to get back at the CWI

What happens if a creep victimizes you for years, wouldnt you have a victim complex? Ignorant fool
In reply to rillo
Why do we always have to assume some malicious intent or conspiracy to explain a poor performance?
In reply to CricketLuva4
Its either victim mentality or reality...
Holder had an economy rate of 5 (the best by far) with a truckload ah licks sharing... India scoring at near 8 per over and he is de one bowling shyte and should be dropped.
The mind boggles

Pollard undermining the team or he is just a plain waste in ODIs?
Only people from the OECS undermine in cricket

Let me be very clear: I am partial to Holder. He is one of the few cricketers for whom I can tick most boxes when considering WI cricket going forward. He is intelligent, curious, hardworking and carries himself in a manner that should make every WI fan proud. Additionally he is viewed as the best all-rounder in test cricket. Nevertheless, he should not be in the t20 team at this stage with our more experienced players available. He however has immense upward potential. He was rightfully removed from the captaincy because he was not quite ready, it was thrust upon him, but he must remain in the ODI team.
With respect to Pollard, he happens to be the best we have currently. Pollard is not the deepest thinker or strategist but it is important that the players respect him and will play for him. He has been able to achieve that so far. He remains an average bowler, batsman, and more than adequate motivator, and also commands respect from opponents. That's a far cry from Braithwaite and Holder in the white ball games. Maybe we can revisit this question of Polly's captaincy and indeed place in the side if and when Russel fully recovers.

was illiterate Viv a deep thinker?
Dear Barry....read then read again!!!
In reply to Islander
Can Viv or Kenny Benjamin even read?
In reply to Barry
Interestingly the only basis for your slander of an Icon and genius of the Caribbean is his inarticulate way of communicating orally. He is a genius. He is our Genius. Yes he can read AND write. By your measure you must have some kind of serious psychosomatic deficit. You impulsively call people on this site vile and vulgar names, sometimes unprovoked. Maybe there is some kind of projection or brokenness deep within you. This statement made by you is instructive: "what happens if a creep victimizes you for years? wouldn't you have a victim complex?" Then you go on to refer to 'sudden' as an ignorant fool. How do you expect him to know what happened to you?; even I can only speculate. Get help Barry.
oh this undermining nonsense again.. never sure if its someones real world view or just a long running joke.
In reply to Barry
What is it with you trinis? Why would you feel the need to demean a cricketing genius like Viv. Did the same with another genius who brought glory to wi, Gary Sobers.
Your country's contribution to wi cricket has been comparatively minimal. Is this why you seek to diminish greats from other territories with such frequency?
i think he mean Lewis not Holder
And now Pollard for sending out Chase to bat at 3
In reply to rillo
A more pertinent question is whether Pollard is trying to undermine team. Leave aside his last match nonperformance, Playing Lewis when not fit, selecting Pierre despite not being up to job, and now bringing in Chase against Jadeja when run rate needs a boost and 2 in form left handers in the hutch
In reply to rillo
Maybe Polly trying to avoid undermining his IPL contract or maybe he's just an ordinary cricketer and average cappo
