I'd like to see Posters adopt good
Cricketers that are NOT from your own
ISLAND.

My Xmas wish for CCC.com Cricket Forum.
I remember a struggling Shai Hope quite
early in his International career, with
DEMONSTRATED CLASS at the Local level
But with the bad luck of a Ram-Puss
Internationally.
I believe that it does HELP a player
if they realize that CRICKET FANS -
Not necessarily Mom, Dad and FAMILY members
Believe in their ability.
The tendency to only DEFEND players from
one's own local territory really CHEAPENS
the DEBATE.
Because OBJECTIVITY becomes MINIMIZED.
MERRY CHRISTMAS to all.
As we approach 2020 .... Think on these
Things.
In reply to Yadi Bang on...as the guyneez used to say. I for one, would always adopt players from other territories!
Keep posting Yadi
Season greetings.

I have already set the example by defending
Shai Hope of Barbados against UNREASONABLE
attacks.
I am Jamaican.
In reply to BeatDball
I am also proud that no Jamaican posters
were whining because King got limited opportunities.
The truth is when a NEW player gets an
opportunity he needs to make it COUNT.

I distinctly remember when lil-Bravo kept
Nicholas Pooran out of the limited overs
final eleven.

and territory because you know Guyana is not an island

Merry Christmas, Prof.

To be honest I don't detect so much ANGER in
Guyanese or Jamaican Posters...
But I see posters going after Pollard.
I see posters going after Hope.
Going after Jason Holder.
And sometimes there is no REAL REASON for the
CRITICISM.
In reply to Chrissy
Cherries used to defend her Baje players ...
But I teased her ... so she tone it down a
bit.
A number of Bajans are not amused by the
Anti-Bajan sentiments ... But they are too
proud to say so.
So them just nobother post.
In reply to Chrissy
The DUKESTER fiercely defends;
Hetmyer, Sarwan ... Kemo Paul ...
The fact that they are Guyanese
May be purely COINCIDENCE.
In reply to Yadi
How did lil bravo keep Pooran our? You mean the little idiot had so much power? Now like the big idiot, youve come to victimize again, even though he bats 3/4

You know Jamaican cricket fans tend to be among the least insular supporters among West Indies fans.
- In 1968, against England, Sabina Park was packed each day despite no Jamaica being in the West Indies team;
- Jamaican fans did throw a few bottles when (Guyanese) Basil Butcher was given out;
- Again, in 1977 'Bina was packed every day against Pakistan, yet no Jamaican was in the team;
-In 1978 against Australia, Jamaican fans did kick up a bit of rumpus when (Barbadian) Vanburn Holder was given out by (Jamaican) umpire Johnny Gayle;
- Most recently, in 2017 against Pakistan, neither of the 2 pensioners, who typically comprised the bulk of the "crowd", stayed home despite no Jamaican being selected on the occasion of the 50th test match being staged at Sabina Park

Jamaicans also tossed a few bottles
on Viv's behalf.
In reply to Yadi
Was that the one narrowly missing Steve Waugh's head?
