I got a link on Willow Tv on my PC. The captain of England drops a simple one. I hope this means another great day for our boys.
Shot Julien!4444444444444444444444444444444 Cover driving in a classic mold!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In reply to solidrock
Melius out for 24 from 34 to Qadri...another start, lovely shots, but gives it away. He's still to actually build an innings.
WI 47-1 after nine overs.
In reply to mikesiva
Yes, Melius gives away his wicket after that easy drop he was given. I want to be angry, but these are yutes. But, our captain often gives away his wicket! I hope he learns quickly!
Real give away
Spinner comes and WI batsmen start getting tied up... Looks like the batsmen are short of confidence playing spinners.
Julien as a wicket-keeper /batsman will one day play for WI. I predict it!

McKenzie hits a big six!
WI 99-2 after 21 overs.
Anderson 19*
McKenzie 12*
McKenzie gives it away...tried to hit another six, caught off Goldsworthy.
WI 100-3
McKenzie really gives it away. Just toy with this bowling and we would make 300. But, our yutes not reading the game well!
In reply to solidrock
Morris out c & b Goldsworthy for 14.
WI 129-4 in the 32nd over.
Anderson 35*
Too many dot balls. Only five twos.
Patrick lbw Qadri for three.
Spinners causing us problems again.
WI 138-5 in the 35th over.
Anderson 41*
Patrick gets out the same way he did last Saturday. Playing off the back foot and gets out plumb. That is the way D. Smith has got out many times over the years as a left-hander.
Young is a fearless batsman. I ask him not to give it away; if he stays with Anderson until the 42 nd over and then goes about hitting the ball.

Welcome back Mike. See you soon on the T&F thread.
Good batting by WI U19. The youngsters are playing cerebral cricket. Sound innings by Anderson, accommodating Young on the go and taking the lead again after Young's departure.
In reply to Headley
Of course!
Seales generates some good pace.
Melius dropped a catch.
I did not know that a 17-year-old Seales could bowl at 142 mph. That is as fast as Joseph was bowling in 2016 competition. That is as fast as Holding was bowling as an 18-year-old.
The Kid Seales is pacy...lovely action and real intent behind his bowling. One to watch
In reply to solidrock
144 Kmph delivery last over. He looks good
Forde is no Seales. And I hope Julien does not drop any when they are knicked.

In reply to sgtdjones
You only point out T&T players. Come on man - this is West Indies - do better fi 2020
In reply to cherri
Your smile must be as big as Carlton.
You had a Star in Shamar Springer a couple U19 WC ago, now Nyeem is looking good.
Harding got his rhythm right yesterday, Mayers has been doing well, now Nyeem is showing the world, and Barbados youngsters, that Carlton should be the club of choice.
In reply to Chrissy
Sorry Chrissy as a citizen of T&T, I follow
the T&T cricket closely.
When I visit I follow local cricket, (3 months) and go to a few games at the FC level
and check out the youngsters that practice with such clubs.
I check out the T&T papers and copy and paste what I deem relevant.
I am not up to date on other players from other islands and Guyana.
If such is deemed insular, I plead guilty.
In reply to openning
Good club and the youngsters are really coming into their own......I would not say it is the club of choice because many in Bim still have this thing about it being a 'white' club, but it has managed to attract some good youngsters...........
In reply to Chrissy
Some people just can't help, the insular pills they taking worse than opioids.
In reply to cherri
The home of The Atkinsons, Prof Edwards, Robin Bynoe, has been invaded by, Jason Holder, Kraigg Brathwaite, Raymon Reifer and company.
The Club Pickwick, has taken over by, Tino Best and the Hopes.
Is Corey Collymore coaching at the club?
Nyeem told Bish, he has been working with him.
In reply to cherri
Your comments make no sense to me, I posted above my sentiments if you read it you would have a semblance understanding my position.
Don't you take carriage when comments are made about your island players? Is that insular?
In reply to sgtdjones
Wunna too like to tek me on.........Have a Happy New Year hear............
In reply to cherri
I have no problem taking you on...only I don't cuss cherri.
I am not an illiterate here ...don't let it bother you about my New Year.
In reply to sgtdjones
And you include Mathew Patrick in that grouping and still wonder why people say you are insular?
In reply to sgtdjones
Thanks, Sarge. Perhaps the others could post info about their players in this team too.
I followed the careers of Nedd, Anderson and other young players since they were very young. Will post anything interesting as soon as possible.
In reply to Logic
Major teams: Badree X1, West Indies Under-19s
What is wrong with the above player? Is the
name Sachin off concern?
Why is it so hard for the intellects here to simply comprehend, I note players I am aware of?
How can I say something about someone I know nothing off? If you are aware of any player
post something relevant to the individual,
improve the knowledge of the thread.
In reply to Norm
Thanks, Norm,
See the difference what you post and others.
By posting the Guyanese players and comments
I and others will become familiar with them.
Be careful, you might be insular?
