I thought he should have come in at #4 after the start from the openers to keep the MO going.
After all he was played as BATSMAN in this game.Did not bowl a ball.
Agree with the other poster that Chase should have come in before Walsh. th the late stage too.
Would have been a good foil for Allen at that stage.
Anyhow the team gave a better showing.
Happy that Ambris showed what he can do as he is obviously low on confidence because of how he is being
treated.
Much better decisions have to be made by those in charge..too many elementary ones.
Close as they say..but no cigar.

Some very poor decisions.

Allen was played in the 2nd game and batted below Keemo Paul. I like Keemo Paul, should currently be playing ahead of Holder but he is not a better batsmen than Allen so the team think tank has to tek some blows for batting Allen to low.

Also, Walsh Jr benched in the 2nd ODI on some huge boundaries that would entice spinners to toss it up.

I don't rate Allen the bowler much, so it means if he is playing, at worse case scenario, it has to be as the team's #7. He's too good a batting talent to be batting at #9. And #9 is a spot for someone who bowls better than bat.
