What is the most feared virus
The world have taken tremendous measures against the coronavirus but I don't think is the most feared.
Ebola and HIV were virtual death sentences but their infection rate were not tremendously high.
And, HIV could be controlled with safe practices.

If we include modern history, i would say the education received by Donald Trump.
In reply to black
the one after this.
In reply to camos
I think the high infection rate is what's scary about this current virus but if you are relatively young with a healthy immune system, you should be fine.

The plagues..
In reply to bravos
Plagues are bacterial in nature.
Hahahahahaha!!!
You're never too old to learn. And there I was thinking that the plaque was caused by a bacteria. Ah well...the garrulous lil' Johnny at it again.
In reply to black
You are way too old to learn.
In reply to black
Ok but it was one of the most feared most prolific and most lethal pandemic diseases..
In reply to Courtesy
Is this some sort of inside joke?
In reply to black
Why did you post this? I have always thought the plaque was caused by a bacteria. I am extremely happy that some unknown facts came out today.

What are you smoking?
In reply to black
Kaka boeuf...from the Northern Range.
In reply to black
Small cock looking for playground points for that oversight..
I think any pandemic regardless the type would be as alarming and as significant no matter the definition .
It all boils down to the death toll, human suffering and displacement etc..
Same character that look for points on simple punctuation, typos and message board slang..
Small cock symptoms,is that a virus a bacteria or a state of mind btw ?
In reply to bravos
Fool, I gave you credit, can't you see?. Just accept it and disappear from this thread. Cut your loses man.
Credit for being as ignorant as fucking he ? What a cock..
Teacher: What is the most feared virus?
Lil' Johnny: (with all the confidence in the world) The plague.
Raucus applause from the entire class.
Black why limit pandemics to viruses ?
You have something against bacteria?
Treatments?
In reply to black
Careful, black.
The Courtesy is in his element when it comes to this subject.
Remember, he studied medicine alongside one who moved on to become the Deputy Minister of Health, Liberia.

In reply to black
I think the forum asstick may be the most 'feared' of all..
We all have one ,sometimes two, even three, sometimes we even share common assticks.
In reply to black
Flat footed response like lil' Johnny's post above.
In reply to bravos
You have ample reason to fear me pal.
Whaaaaaahhhhh!!!
Btw, thanks for keeping this thread and your legacy alive.
Asstick full circle...
In reply to bravos
What's the most feared virus? That's full circle for you.
I dare you to answer without the use of unbridled language. This time, take your time. That may very well be the stopcock in your... to end the full circle.
In reply to black
It would probably be the hemorrhagic fever viruses like Ebola or Marburg or Lassa.
Rabies isnt funny either. There are some rabies ward vids on YouTube from India and just scary. And a diagnosis of rabies with neurological symptoms is death.
In reply to camos
the next one is correct. There is one that just kicked off in China with a 38% fatality rate. It killed one person so far. They are not sure what it is as yet.
In reply to Halliwell
I just read something that says rabies kill 55,000 people a year.
Bats are notorious for carrying rabies.
In reply to black
To put the SMR of rabies into context, there are approximately 7,000 neonatal deaths every day globally.
In reply to Courtesy
7000 Neonatal deaths daily?
Is that possible?
In reply to black
In Asia and Africa its more canid bites though
In reply to black
Yep. Also Maternal Mortality is about 270, 000 annually.
Every day 740 mothers die.
In reply to bravos
The bubonic plague was indeed, badass.
I think the question ask "is" so that means current and now not controllable. Funny thing is the flu still kills a lot of people annually though not as,quickly as COVID-19. I guess there.is no fear of it. ROTO virus and EBOLA are I think currently the most feared.
Historically SmallPox killed the most people ever. Over 300 million- wiped out the milions of American Indians real quick. Still around.
The plague killed roughly 60 million at that time considered half of europe. Still around since it was rodent borne. Dont let Trump know where it started.
Rodents also carry Rabies.
Funny thing how all of them are animal borne and cross over due to human unsanitary behavior and recklessness.
