One thing I discover since messing around in the kitchen is that all of a sudden you discover little burn marks on your hands and arm and can’t remember when they happen ---- I am actually enjoying fooling around in the kitchen. Yesterday I cooked a 6lb piece corned beef with cabbage, potatoes and carrots, man did that thing come out great… corned beef shrinks a lot when cooked

About to buy an immersion blender. Mainly for soups but that is not the only feature of the one I want to buy. Plan to try my hand at some Trini corn soup in a couple weeks. Did some red pea soup a week ago...plan to do gungo pea soup next weekend and after that the corn soup. smile

Are you also looking at the discount flyers weekly?
Bro, my best friend of 48 years, could not boil water, since retiring 10 years ago, he has been driving me crazy about his cooking, and which store has certain meats on discount.
His wife has step aside and let him do his thing.
A smart woman, thats why he has been married for 50 years.

Oh – I really didn’t answer your question – my wife just bought a Emril Lagasse counter top oven --- not sure why, so far it has only replace the toaster, and tek up more space big grin
