...who are advocating night and day here for free and fair elections in Guyana.

Discourtesy says, if Guyana wants to maintain its good neighbourliness and excellent relations with Caricom, it has to observe the basic tenets of democracy...full stop.

But back to the purpose of this thread,...praise de #bruddersinsupportofdemocracyinguyana.

“This is not a joke. There is an adjective of Algonquian origin by the name, Mingo. Please go to Webster’s third new international dictionary, unabridged – the 1976 edition. It is on page 1438. I think this was the last edition, but I could be wrong. On that page you will find the adjective, “Mingo.” It means, “treacherous”.
Could we speak of Clairmont Mingo’s mingo conduct on March 4 at the GECOM command centre, when he became Mandrake and began to read out the statements of poll for Region 4 that did not exist?” big grin

What are the remedies if it is found that he changed the SOPs to favour APNU? Will an incoming admistration pursue this matter?

They will have to as the citizens expects such, anything less will also see them perhaps casted aside also. The rule of law and accountability has to be upheld if democracy is to flourish.

Some very selfish moves by the incumbent...its an All-In move, they know the PNC is dead again and will need several more decades of name changes before they ever see office again. It is more likely that a small party win an elections than the PNC.

Some are protecting him, obviously he was not alone in this, did you see the video with him explaining how he compiled his tabulations? It seems as if he is not aware of terminology and it is my gut-feeling the spreadsheets were provided to him. What is alarming and rather sad is the silence of many within the party. After this is over it will be a badly damaged party, the coalition will unravel and I expect fingerpointing, I see many political careers over.
They will eventually disassociate themselves from him as the counting reveals more of his skullduggery, Gecom and some of their agents are already being thrown under the bus.

If you lost the elections concede, regroup and come again in 5 years, I feel that they are not very confident that they will be able to do so hence their reluctance to concede. Of course the newfound oil is the main reason and what it says to me is that greed and self interests are at stake here.

Their supporters are fine with living under a dictatorship, a rather large percentage of the population, what does that say about Guyanese as a whole? Thoughts.

The Wednesday exposure! Twenty five boxes have been recounted so far with Mingo’s rugged numbers. In those, Mingo's declaration for APNU+AFC is inflated by 1,874 votes and the PPP/C reduced by 262 votes.

Thanks. Those who appreciate democracy must add their voices to the apparent skulduggery and farce which passes in the name of democracy in Guyana.

What is sad is this coalition promised so much, they ran on an anti- corruption, clean, honest govt platform. It was a combination of several various ethnic groups, I think leadership was severely lacking, ministers were allowed free reign to indulge in nonsense and maybe fraud. They made a few damaging rookie mistakes such as giving themselves 50% pay increases, terminating sugar workers who were some of the main supporters of the AFC partner in the coalition with no contingency plans, hiding the 18m Exxon bonus, signing the Exxon contract without proper oversight and advice, the minister said he relied on his staff to do so among a few I can recall offhand.

So it was like the tail wagging the dog which ended up in a "free for all party supporters?'

The poster Jeremy has been unrelenting in his efforts to highlighting the shortcomings of the Guyana elections, albeit, a bit unorthodox.

Salute Jeremy.
