Coved-19: Beware of quick-fix vaccine promoters

It’s all about the Benjamins and not necessarily your health.

Vaccine development has not changed overnight with the onset of the current pandemic. It is a long complex process that can last from 10-15 years. With a bit of luck and everything in alignment, 12-18 months could be really pushing the envelope.

If any person or company offers up that this can be done in less time, be sure to protect your pocket and in turn your health.

Coved-19 is a beast of a virus, stumping the best of minds, presenting itself in unusual and unique ways depending upon physiological health of the individual.

With many institutions across the world trying to come up with a way to combat this virus, some collaboratively, and others obviously in competition, it’s in the nature of the marketplace for some companies to jump the gun and say they are on track with a solution to combating this virus.

It’s for the same reason why many people are suspicious about President Donald Trump and his promotion of hydroxychloroquine, other than his unique personality of never wanting to be wrong or proven wrong, and thus has to stick to promotion of the product, even if it supposed benefits are questionable.

This week one company on the early bandwagon of pomoting a potential vaccine for Covid-19 was Moderna. Their stocks rose sharply after the announcement, but since then there have been questions about this development.

On Monday Moderna announced in a press release that “positive” data was collected from an early-stage human trial of a coronavirus vaccine, sending its stock valuation and the Dow Jones surging.

But two vaccine experts interviewed by Stat noted that Moderna has yet to publish its studies in scientific journals, and pointed out that the company disclosed results from only eight of the 45 subjects, meaning the majority of the outcomes remains unknown.

The Stat report sent the Dow Jones Industrial Average tumbling in its final hour of trading Tuesday afternoon as skepticism over the vaccine’s readiness hit the market.

The experts also noted the silence from the National Institute for Allergy and Infectious Disease, Moderna’s partner in developing the vaccine, which declined to comment on the Cambridge, Massachusetts-based company’s Monday announcement, which is abnormal for the institute that usually tauts its success, according to Stat.

No quick fixes, please. There are too many anti-Vaxxers out there, whose voices and movement would defeat the whole purpose of any vaccine development for this virus.

Snake oil vaccine statements will all show promise.

Then 24 months from now we will see the contraindications and faint.

I hope they test them all on Trump and see how much MAGA antibody it creates.

The Stock price of Moderna has been rising at a fast pace over the last 2 weeks, this week they said they will be issuing more stocks, it is starting to look a bit shady, some higher-ups in the Company might be trying to cash out.
