Jamaica used to use DST. Over time it abandoned it. I guess there was no point to mindlessly aping the US. Why would a tropical country which had sunlight anywhere from 5:30- 6 a.m. need to go with something that meant 5a.m was now 4.a.m. and still night? How was that beneficial?
