Pelon where are you
In reply to Chrissy
Spoke to him today.
He's busy with Covid, and ramping up hurricane preparedness plans.
Busy guy.
In reply to Curtis
Thanks
In reply to Chrissy
Welcome. But I was speculating.
In reply to Curtis
Chrissy may find a way to apply the speculate to the side of your head.
In reply to Headley
Fi true.
I know NP is busy with Covid-19 but am not sure about Pelon
In reply to Chrissy
It's been at least a month since he posted. More than likely he's busy with covid response.
Did not know about NP but his training and experience must be in high demand.
My daughter's classmate graduated recently in Fl with a Masters in Urban Planning and Healthcare. She was called unsolicited and given a job managing a covid tracing unit BEFORE the university sent her the official results.

!!! Sorry I missed this thread until now !!!
All is well, yet overwhelmed between work and managing the family over this extended Covid-19 era. I find myself spending more (free) time on the water in my spare time and keeping the fam occupied/happy out there. Open water is covid free for sure. smile.
Outside of the obvious at work, all is well. Thankful no COVID issues withing my personal sphere.
Having multiple MDs as family members though does increase the exposure risk exponentially.
THANK YOU THANK for dragging my ass back to "home" here on cc.com
RE: Weather, I think we are in for a rough late Aug/Sept. I remain ready, and I know nothing of the sort will catch you off guard!
@Headley: Big up bro. How things?

Great To Hear from You Pelon , and to know that You are O.K !!!!!
I saw in a newspaper that The Government of SVG intends to try ensuring that the Atlantic Ocean does not make a Channel so that
Salt Whistle Bay is cut off from the Hill .
In reply to pelon
Good to hear you bro. Stay safe.
All is well for me, here in Bim. The next 4 months with minimal tourism receipts are expected to be tough.
In reply to tc1
Yes that's the ballpark and unlike many jobs overtime is available.
In reply to Chrissy
Yes Chrissy .. busting my BUTT ... for the last 3 months, yes we were working from home ... and seems like nothing changed in terms of demands on the job ... but in a new environmental space.
Me and the FAM good to go ... but I'm back in the works space as of Aug 3rd ... third day with MINIMAL staffing on a rotational basis ... I'm the only constant in our division aall others are given some choices to continue remotely and report in 1-2 or 1-3 days. Many have elder family issues young kids and need time to handle that. So since we are all FAMILY - we have to make it work.
I have NOT gone anywhere in NO since March 16 ... except get mi supplies and head back to the CAVE. But I have all l need to stay in tune and run the stuff from home.
If things bruk out - its all-cave time time again.
Hope yuh doing well too my sistren -- and I see Bro Pelon pop in. Whats up Bro??)
Good to see that many of us are still doing well despite this SHIT ... and we have an EEDAITT at the White House still ... COVID shoulda done him!!

Good to hear yuh bro. I can just imagine how hectic things must be, but Multitasking and Dealing with Hardship 101 is one of the compulsory Mona courses which always helps you to excel.
Talking of excellence, since yesterday your brethren Wilko is now among the recipients of the OD at the rank of Commander (CD). Mi living vicariously, cause mi feel like mi get it too.
In reply to Headley
Yes man - I know. Its just about 2 weeks ago me and Wilko hooked up.
He needed some medical science articles and Ive been helping him and others do this stuff over 15 years now.
We just havent seen each other since 2007. I spent the time at WORLD CUP in JA watching those games in J and hung out with Wilko and fam.
But we stay in touch REGULAR.
He, Peter Figueroa and a few others have benefited from rapid delivery of data/papers of repute that is difficult without Big Money in the UWI Med Library.
Mi haffi put it back if yuh know wadda mean.

Three friends on that list - Wilco, Paulette and Alison (who died on June 1)
