What is he doing in the TKR team??

The guy is nearly 49 and eating food from the youngsters plate!

Has he been imposed on the team by their Indian owners??

Profile on Cricinfo:

Pravin Tambe had not even played a top-level game for a first-class side when he was picked from obscurity at the age of 41, by Rajasthan Royals for IPL 2013. The legspinner had toiled for several years as a club cricketer in Mumbai while still holding down a day job. Until the Royals scouts spotted his talent, his closest brush with top-level cricket came when he was named in the Mumbai Ranji probables in 2000. During the early seasons of the IPL, Tambe worked as a liaison officer whenever matches were played at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai. He played his first recognised Twenty20 against Delhi Daredevils, in 2013. He grabbed the spotlight in the Champions League T20 later that year, when he was the competition's leading wicket-taker with 12 scalps in five games at an average of 6.50, better than the likes of Sunil Narine and R Ashwin. That led to the long-awaited Mumbai Ranji call-up in the domestic season that followed.

Hopefully the youngsters who play in his team and plays against him, can pick his brain and he can impart some knowledge onto them

Yes , that what youngsters need , the experience players to give advice.

Experience?? Did you read the profile I posted above. The guy didn't start playing serious cricket until 2013, when he was 41 years old.

What T20 experience can't Johnny Bravo, Pollard and Narine impart on the youngsters?

Like I noted , limited knowledge of the game.

Its typical when knowledge lacks, to use profanities.

Did you watch him bowl?
He can teach our guys a thing or to about the art of spin bowling

Look, you are making a valid point. I believe the owner of the franchise wanted him to eat a food. From what i read, he seems like a decent human being and he did bowl well today, but yes, you are correct, a youngster from any of our territory would have been more useful to our cricket future.

Yep and he's being treated very well by all, glad for the geezer..but obviously it won't be something sustainable..

Exactly. Our West Indian cultural hospitality is something to behold. If you notice in England Australia, India, how players and other players from black countries- Bangla, SA, Sri Lanka, Pak, Afg are not treated the way our players threat the foreign players.

In IPL India, white players are given royal treatment by Indians- they consider white skin superior to their own dark skin and as such those white players are given more respect.

Are you not saying the same thing? In one's home, guest is always honored and treated with respect.

googley 2020-09-03 12:28:05

If SRK wants to pick Pravin to play in his team, so whats the problem?

Duh?

I am saying in INDIA IPL, White players are given superior treatment when compared to non white players.

Is this what you consider "Honor and respect?"

surprised

shock

Darren Sammy addressed it.

Now I usually don't respond to you but I made an exception but if you continue to go down the road of making dotish comments then do not even bother. On the other hand if you genuinely and respectfully wish to debate the topic, then you are welcome to do so

Those boot licking assclowns will lick Mindian ass till their tongues fall out.

Field Donkey only spoke out because he knows the IPL Mindians won't even pay him to cut the grass these days.

googley 2020-09-03 15:11:57

Talk about being dotish...no response on Bravo and company?

Sammy reported someone calling him "Kalu" and accepted that it was used in term of endearment. Where did he say otherwise that he was not treated properly?
