First no-ball in ODI
I wonder what were the odds?
England had an immaculate home record, 5 unbeaten yrs and de big foot bwoy had ta come and spoil dat.

I notice you continue to throw nuff scorn Archer way. Nothing wrong with being disappointed with his choice - I am too. But it's his choice and career-wise it has worked out well for him.
Meantime you give a pass to all those Jamaicans who could have represented their home country in athletics but chose a European dominated country instead

Wrong sport. That's so long ago. Those who do today, caan mek my side.
Jamaica is pound for pound the number one track n field nation in the world.

Fair point. But it also acknowledges that economic self-interest is important to decisions sportsmen make about country representation. No unique to Archer

Archer earning on the t20 circus compensates for the small pickings he would get for repping his region internationally.
Ya think Brendan Nash would have played for the West Indies if he was good enough at the time to make the Australia test team? No need to answer that question.
Any athlete who is good enough to represent the country of his birth and develop his talents there but then chooses to rep another deserves stick..
In reply to Raggs
... and the reverse can also be argued. You caan mek your home side... because if we did good would we be looking to Nash?
The only reason why we bawling for Archer is becaue we SUCK!

Ah really doh understand why, doctors, nurses, lawyers, engineers and others who leave the region to maximise dere earnings overseas get a pass but a cricketer doesn't.
He may be wet behind de ears, naive and lacking in diplomacy but it is his right, like all those others who have left the region, to seek the best for himself. And if it happens to be outside the region so be it.

do you realise that sport in itself a friendly form of international 'war' ? they play anthems for people to stand up and pledge to do their best in a sporting arena for a reason.
that's kinda different from going overseas just to enhance oneself to earn a bigger bread

So Lara is not a legend?
In reply to Logic
So I have no issue with it. Even if I would love him to be playing for us, no hate here.
