The best of all was M Marshall, he had all the weapons

Sylly was quite mean. He was a legend in county cricket and no less than Steve Waugh, Viv, Gooch, Gower, Zaheer Abass and Simon Hughes (ok a lesser mortal) would speak to the difficulty, danger and fear of facing him.

A great article that speaks to his intimidation Remembering Sylvester Clarke, cricket's feared and unknowable fast bowler

Another article also says this - sorry but in many ways I really liked and was disappointed (Rebel tour) by this troubled genius.

Roberts was the shrewdest of them; Holding, the fastest; Garner, the most accurate; Croft, the most unorthodox; Marshall, the most versatile and greatest of the pack. But the meanest of them all had to be Clarke.

Ian Bishop was as dangerous as any of these guys before his back injury

In International cricket it has to be Mikey though Sylvester was dangerous, his international cricket was limited.

I think Bish was fast and furious prior to his injury, but dangerous perhaps not. Dangerous would be the bowler who will hit the batter just for the sake of hitting the batter and without any discernable change of action or run up
