When President Obama was in Office ,
and had only 10 months left in his Presidency , Moscow Mitch Mc Connell stated that President Barack should not
have the Right to fill a vacancy on the
Supreme Court .
As a result of the Republicans being in
control by the Senate , President Obama
was denied the opportunity to fill the
vacancy in the U.S SUPREME COURT , This
was due to the fact that the Republican Party was numerically in control of the
Senate .
The death of Justice Bader Ginsburg ,
with only 2 plus months for the General
Election , and the Republicans in control of the Senate , I am very sure
that the Republican Senate , will not
wait until the outcome of the General Elections on the 3rd. of November this
year is known .
The Republican Party in modern times is
very well known for its propensity for
indulging in Political Chicanery .
In a nutshell , the majority Republican
Senate with 10 plus months before the
end of President Barack's term in Office , decided to deny President Obama the opportunity to select a Judge
for the Supreme Court ; due to the fact that the Republican Party was and still is in control of the Senate .
There is absolutely no doubt that the
Republican Party is going to jettison ,
what they stated when President Obama had 10 plus months in Office , and was denied the opportunity to select and nominate a Person to fill the vacancy
that was in the U.S Supreme Court .
These days , there is absolutely no
reason to vote for any Republicans ,
quite frankly , there were Republicans in the past who were moderate in their Political Philosophy , Nelson Rockefeller ; John Lindsey ; Jacob Javits et al were Liberal Republicans , Sadly that era is seemingly gone forever .
In my opinion , the Viernam War signalled the end of the era of having Liberal Republicans . I have in this Forum , cited the fact that
when Martin Luther King was assinated , the Mayor of New York ,John Lindsey a liberal Republican & Robert Kennedy
went to Harlem and asked the People not to be destructive ; and their appeals were heeded ; the Governor was Nelson Rockefeller , also a Liberal Republican , so also was Jacob Javits one of the 2 New York State Senators.
The advent of Richard Nixon , and the
Vietnam War , were in my opinion , started the beginning of the end of the Republican Party having Liberal Politicians

Obama on filling Ginsburg's seat: Apply rules with consistency
"A basic principle of the law and of everyday fairness is that we apply rules with consistency, and not based on whats convenient or advantageous in the moment," Obama wrote

Personally I don't mind a conservative justice but not in such a hypocritical manner...it certainly looks like the "Biden rule" will be discarded by the same ones who lauded it in 2016...

It is Karma , in my opinion because once again the Republican Party is
demonstrating that they
relish indulging in Political Machiavellian Tactics .
Obviously this is my opinion , and I
believe that I can express my opinion
in this Forum .
