I have Gay family and Lesbian and have banter with them about it,their reply is we get that several times from people we don't even know,we are not really bothered.I worked with a Gay bloke and he told me it does not bother him.That is totally different from a racist slur,Gays and Lesbians are in top jobs all over the UK,doing very well thank you,they are not bothered about little things like that.

It would appear you folks in Europe have a positive view of women in sports.
Here in North America, mainly the USA, there are people going on radio talk shows urging the public to stop watching women's professional sports.
They argue if the public stops watching these sports they will lose their sponsors and be forced out of business.
The only reason they are targeting women's professional sports is because they claim the women are lesbians.
