Emrit?
I hope they remember what happened on the last tour and try to change things accordingly.
Players like Nick Pooran and Brandon King needs to be looked at in a test match arena?
I know King failed miserably in the CPl but he was swinging from the hip from the opening ball in the matches, if it was a decent ball, great ball or nothing ball his mindset by team orders was to find a way to smash it.
In the first class regional games he does look classy and having time to play his shots properly.

No. Who would he play ahead of?

I misread your post originally.
King had a very poor CPL season thats true. But he has shown lots of potential and I would not discard him at this point. The option would be to bring in Simmons to replace him. I would rather invest in a young King than an ageing Simmons at this point. Especially with next years World Cup in mind.
Thats harsh on Simmons who ended up among the most runs in the tournament and played a match winning hand in the final, and hes had a pretty good T20 career. But Simmons really only came good in 2 innings in that tournament. The 2 most important innings for sure. But he too was pretty poor before that.
