The thing that interests me about this team is THEORETICALLY, we have a really good fielding unit.

Hety, Pooran, Polly, Kemo, Allen, Walsh Jr, and Cotterell are all above average to superb fielders.

That’s something to look forward to.

Like him or not, he’s one of 2 death bowlers in the squad

Nuff players does run from bowling at the death. Not Williams. The other being maybe Kemo Paul

As long as he’s fit for the first match, he starts.

Shepherd is just as good at the death plus he could offer something with the bat if needed.

In the last CPL Keemo and Shepherd had better economy rates than Williams and all three bowled most of their overs at the death.

Shepherd - 7.31 19 overs
Paul - 7.32 29.2 overs
Williams - 8.92 34.1 overs

What experience does Shepherd have bowling at the death in international cricket?

Come on man. He has potential, but he not leapfrogging Williams. Not yet anyway.

The t20 world cup is next year.. how yuh expect guys like Shepherd to get the necessary experience if they warming the bench?

Not like Williams got spectacular numbers in t20Is.. we need to expose youngsters now and start grooming them, increase our pool of death bowlers.

Or you prefer we wait until the world cup reach to give dem ah chance?

He'll get experience when/if he earns it.

Remember, he wasn't even named in the original squad and only got a spot due to injury.

Now you want him to be starting?

He not sure to be selected for World Cup next year either.

Get real bruh

Williams is a sure pick for next year world cup? lol

He didn't earn his pick? What did Thomas, Powell and Williams do to be selected ahead of him?

That's why WI cricket where it is.. they prefer to stick to the same failures over and over instead of trying something new.
