First of all, hoping for a full and speedy recovery Romario Shepherd. Covid eh easy and they still don’t know the long term effects of having contracted the virus.

Secondly, given his performances in NZ....especially with the bat......that’s a big loss for the squad

Thirdly, the most logical replacement would have been Barnwell, if only he was fit.

More likely, it could be someone like Roshon Primus or Anderson Phillip

Permaul stats from the last regional 4-day tournament, did not get him selected to England or New Zealand.

The Guyana Jaguars suppose to start preparation for the super50 on the 4th of this month with a fitness test but everything is pushed back to the 16th of January. They claiming that its the weather but according to the players one of the contracted players test positive for covid.

Two 18 men teams were selected and suppose to be led by Hety and Johnson.. but everything on hold for now I guess.
