Look the stark freaking Fact is that
the Structure of Cricket in the Region
is Second Class .

Therefore it should be no surprise
that Our Players are second Class
Players .

When Our Players were Great , most of them played in an era where they were
in demand to play Cricket in England
that obviously sharpened their Skills , and abilities .

It is also important to note that in those eras , Many Matches were played
between the Test Matches ,

This Obviously made Our Players acclimatized to the conditions of the
Weather , and the Pitches .

I CITE THE ABOVE SO THAT PEOPLE IN

THE REGION , FULLY UNDERSTAND THAT

IN THE EARS OF OUR PLAYERS GREATNESS,

THERE WAS NO CRICKET LEAGUE IN THE

THE REGION .

In this Forum I have continuously stated that The WICBC/CWI Failed to
realize and understand that when those many matches were played between the Test Matches .

Our Players Fitness ; Stamina ; Concentration ; and weather conditions , were fuelled by those
many matches between the Test Matches.

Let me once again cite the fact that
in the Glory Years of West Indies Cricket , There was nary a Regional League in the Region . Despite that
Our Players and Teams were the Best in the World .

The stark Freaking fact is that Cricket aint only played on the Cricket Fields , it is also played in
I.C.C.

Comparatively recently 4 International Cricket Playing Countries decided that THEY must have
the Lions share of the Money . Now this is a freaking fact not fiction .
These Counties were shamed into rescinding that idea .

From a Geographical perspective , the
Closest Cricket Playing Country to Our Region is England . England decided to limit the number of Overseas Players playing Cricket in
England .

That was a crafted Plan to dilute the prowess of Our Players in
International Cricket .

Bowlers in the World , when it was decided that Pace Bowlers can only bowl One Bouncer per Over .

THE WIBC/CWI , FAILED TO REALIZE AND

UNDERSTAND THAT THE ABOVE CHICANERY

WAS DONE TO WEAKEN THE PROWESS OF OUR

PLAYERS .

The fact is that the People in the

WICBC/CWI UTTERLY FAILED TO REALIZE &

FULLY UNDERSTAND THE IMPACT THESE

STRICTURES WOULD HAVE ON OUR PLAYERS

COMPETITIVENESS IN INTERNATIONAL

CRICKET .

The fact is that the WICBC/CWI Failed
the Countries in the Region . It took
several years before it dawned on them to have a Regional Cricket League .

This is why WE are at or near the bottom of International Cricket . The
WICBC/CWI , is akin to being an old
Dinasour in International Cricket .

If WE want Our Players to be Great again , the WICBC/CWI aint the Answer
To use a Caribbean phrase :

THEY ARE TO SET IN THEIR WAYS !!!!

There must be a completely new Entity
in the governance of West Indies Cricket . None of the current Members
of the WICBC/CWI can be on this New
Structure .

That was a fantastic letter and I hope our guys really play their heart out taking inspiration from that letter and India's recent performance against Australia. Go Maroons!!!

An uplifting and motivational letter, however in the article it said that the WI did not lose a Test match in 17 years, I think that might be an error.
