The salient question in my mind is this

ARE THE FINANCIAL GAINS OF THE WICBC/

CWI , GOING TO IMPROVE THE

COMPETITIVENESS OF OUR PLAYERS IN THE

INTERNATIONAL CRICKET ARENA ?????????

The answer is NO! The main problem with the performance of West Indies cricketers is not financial, it is mental. What these guys need is a mental workover. They are T20-money-drunk, pride deficient and mentally weak! Right now a team psychologist is even more important than a board chairman. Until these guys are able to get their heads in the right place, their standing in international cricket will remain in the doldrums. We saw a little improvement with the team in Bangladesh. Unfortunately, the management will abandon most of these guys who went to BNGLADESH and go back to the greedy, prideless, low-level-thinking, mediocre performers who opted out of Bangladesh, and we will again find ourselves at square one!

That is nonsense. Compare the preparation levels of international cricketers from schools, clubs, national and regional associations.

Mental preparation goes hand in hand with physical preparation. The more practice, the stronger the mind.

Our cricketers do not play enough cricket at any level PERIOD then folks like you turn on them and blame them.
