I will admit that CWI has been trying their utmost with Hetty with regards to his training regimen.He is trying but it has been difficult.His diet has improved and he has lost about 8-10 pounds. He needs to lose another 5-7 pounds which can be accomplished by dietary means rather than exercise.One suggestion is that he increase his water intake.I even told the story of my Uncle who in the midst of war,racism and poverty at Howard in the late 1930's had no money for food so he drank an extraordinary amount of water to supplement his infrequent meals.
CWI want him to focus on test cricket because they feel that if he is successful as a test cricketer he would be even more formidable in the shorter formats.
I actually agree with them on that score.

Hope you are right about that and that he will get a look in for the tests. Don't want to deny Hetty the lucre from white ball cricket but it is painful to watch him vooping his career away. He is too talented a batsman for that.

We need s player like Pant competent with the gloves WHO CAN BAT..and score runs under pressure....it is a mystery we cant find one.
