Most Scotch bonnets have a heat rating of 100,000350,000 Scoville units. For comparison, most jalapeño peppers have a heat rating of 2,500 to 8,000 on the Scoville scale. However, completely sweet varieties of Scotch bonnet called cachucha peppers are grown on some of the Caribbean islands.

I once ate a raw habanero on a dare, it kicked my ass but I ate it
In reply to black
Child's play.

I can eat them as hot as they come but it has to be with food.
Any of the top 10 hottest peppers would cause severe pain if eaten without food.
In reply to sgtdjones
You can never confirm black now even after correcting your own handle- you were born everywhere
The Carolina reaper is now number 1 at 2.2.... and the scorpion is second at 2.0....
The reaper is a cross breed of a Pakistan/St Vincent pepper... its like Socafighter
Barry, have you ever thought about speeding up the process to heaven?
In reply to black
Nonsense.
Any of the top 10 hottest peppers would cause severe pain if eaten without food

Dimwit
My work with children is just tablets and funds ...I have no personal involvement. I facilitate such with my personal funds.
I am not religious so I have no beliefs , when I am dead it's all over.
No heaven nor hell. I know such is difficult for you to comprehend.
If you were a high school graduate , you would understand.
In reply to sgtdjones
I mean your other work as with the chicken man kids...no heaven or hell, I agree, but it have police, no?
In reply to sgtdjones

The mean sister of the 7 Pot Chili, the Douglah (also known as the Chocolate 7 Pot) is characterized by heavily textured dark brown or even purple skin. This pepper comes agonizingly close to two million SHU, so one would imagine flavor is the last thing anyones thinking about as theyre lying on the floor, weeping. This pepper is far into the heat range that you need to seriously consider wearing gloves and goggles if you plan on handling them in any capacity. And yet, many say the Douglah is one of the most deliciously flavored peppers, with a full-bodied fruitiness unmatched by others of its spice level. Hailing from Trinidad, land of the brutal pepper, this variety can be found in many of the same dishes as the other Caribbean contenders.
Alyuh even got a Douglah pepper?
Alyuh nah easy.
In reply to black
Yes boy we does douglarize anything!! Hot pepper is a thing here...and I see a man talking bout flesh not as hot as seeds etc...Not with dem scorpion and dougla etc nah..like de flesh is de hottest thing ...and they smell so fruity and nice you wont believe that will fork you up so..lol.
In reply to bravos
I hear a lot of people say that, they are just repeating what they hear. It has been my experience that the seeds are not as hot as the actual flesh.
In reply to black
Yeah pepper seeds are only so hot,no matter the pepper...its the flesh where the source the real heat is..
