Archbishop Gordon: We have become a people of ingratitude

PORT of Spain Archbishop Jason Gordon is calling on the nation not to take their blessings for granted and show gratitude to relatives and fellow citizens for their sacrifices.
Speaking at the virtual Corpus Christi Mass on Thursday, Gordon urged worshippers to remember the sacrifice of Jesus Christ and take the time to show gratitude for their lives.

Referring to passover celebrations in Jewish tradition, Gordon said it was important for worshippers to give thanks for their lives, and noted that even as TT continues to face challenges from the covid19 pandemic, recognising the selflessness of others was important in observing Corpus Christi.

"Everyday in the domestic family, in your homes, sacrifices are offered up. Do you ever consider the sacrifices made when your mom or dad prepares a meal for you?

"Our old people used to say that ingratitude is worse than necromancy, worse than obeah and we have become a people of ingratitude.

Mr Archbishop...

I would like to know the details of the alleged  hitting of someone in the Church by you in Barbados.
You were charged and the case was suddenly dropped , without any comments? This is rather strange isn't it..?
I am not an attorney but if the Police charge someone , isn't there some semblance of evidence before such action is taken?

Secondly , why did Rome have to allegedly apologize for comments you made about a small island Prime Minister?

Why in particular do Priests molest kids in your religion, as I saw recently a homosexual utmost accomplishment is to become a priest.
Rome protects such vile acts by ignoring or promoting them.

Oh Mr Archbishop, I am paying the legal bills for an employee dismissed under your tenure
I see you fought in Industrial Court and Lost.
It will now be a brief logged in the High Court in T&T, you must be aware of such.
I am paying till we get to the Privy Council to expose you and your Church.

I understand you have sent your priest when Tablets and Funds to help the poor are given by associates representing me, curious about who I am?.

One of your Priest noted you have powerful friends in the press.Oh that really scares me.....

Our legal team assembled and ready ready to battle the Organization you represent.....

Your Attorneys at Fitzwilliam, Furness , Smith and Morgan will receive a response to their letter recently received.

Your response was anticipated . A press conference will be held soon explaining why this brief will appear in High Court.

Wondering aloud why would you call this former employee into your Office and offer to pay for Counselling?
After two decades if dismissed without due Course are such allowed ?.A guilty mind makes errors. It was refused.

Mr Archbishop, did you know after this employee was dismissed , one of the directors family member immediately got the position.
Again thinking out loud , are such deemed to be a conflict by your Church, or are your entity absolved from such occurrences.

A director noted to the individual , if the Church is sued , "you will never get another job in T&T again?" Such threats are allowed by your directors representing your entity?

Find out what your director did when this individual came to collect personal belongings. The words spoken by a Priest who represent the Catholic entity.

One of your employees wanted to know why this individual is still driving that car, I paid the outstanding balance. How this individual who is supporting an 80 years old mom, unemployed
for over 3 years living?, I have been their sole supporter and will continue to do so.

It will be fun starting soon. Our position is not ingratitude nor insolence, just to get what is legally due.
