Did you watch Bravo in that warm up against Sri Lanka? Lakmal and co. had him twist up like a pretzel. What do you think Rabada and Nortje doing same thing at pace would do to him?

Bravo wouldn't have done any better. What evidence do you see in his batting that would make you think otherwise?

Well this backfired.. Who in their righted mind gonna miss ah player who struggled to average more than 6 in the last two years or more in test cricket? De man does struggle against short stuff from medium pacers.. imagine what Rabada and Nortje would do to him lol

If was a big blow on a day of blows for West Indies, who were routed for 97 - the 19th time in Test cricket they've been bowled out below 100, and their lowest total against South Africa. Bonner, averaging 62.50 in his four Tests before this one, was one of only five players to face more than 30 balls in the innings.

Bravo has played 7 test matches since his return to the WI test team in 2019

1. 2 and 1

2. 50

3. 6 and 0

4. 18 and 2

5. 4 and 23* retired hurt due to concussion

6. 9 and 12

7. 7 and 4

How does that record suggest that he should be selected???

It's admitted position that Bravo's recent form has been poor.... partly because of lack of opportunities due to pandemic .....and his decision not to tour that as it may....No doubt Bravo add valuable experience and depth to the side.....Duke has pointed out only score of 50.....but that 50 , itself was series defining..... against the pitch similar to present one.... taking blows after blows...he definitely can add depth...

No. We didn't miss him in Bangladesh, we never miss him for the series against SL.

We miss Campbell and Joseph.

Lets see if Hope and Chase's contribution compare to those they replaced.
