I am an ardent supporter of WI cricket, despite whoever are chosen. I may disagree, however that does not diminish my support. It has been an extremely difficult time most days. Like being addicted and crack, I know it is bad for me but cannot helps myself.

conclusion . I was and still am critical of those in the Worst International Cricket Board .

Aka the WICBC/CWI . I have not seen any
or do I expect any deviation of the
current modus operandi of the JOKERS .

I am on record in this Forum since
2003 that there must be very serious Structural Changes in the WICBC/CWI .

Unless or until there are very serious Structural changes in those
in the Governance of West Indies Cricket .

THERE MUST BE AN ABSOLUTELY

INDEPENDENT ENTITY, THAT MUST INCLUDE

FORMER PLAYERS TO FORMULATE WHAT MUST

BE DONE TO IMPROVE WEST INDIES

CRICKET .

Until that is done WE will be akin to
Spinning a Top in Mud . I will forever insist that Former Great Players MUST be on the BOARD .

That's not going to happen. The WI dominance in the 80's was an aberration. It was the result of conditions that will probably never recur.

A collection of poor countries, with a small population, is extremely unlikely to dominate the world in anything. New Zealand comes close but they are not poor. On the other hand, the territories making up WI seem determined to remain poor.

(Even within the Caribbean territories, the more affluent generally dominate at various sports. In today's world, talent and passion alone no longer lead to dominance. You need facilities, high level internal competition, attractive financial compensation, etc.)
