I'm asking because I remember when straight men started wearing earrings in one ear in the 80s. Back then straight men wore earrings in one ear and gay men wore earrings in the other ear (don't remember which ear). But now everyone wears earrings in both ears.
I recently saw a guy on TV wearing powder blue nail polish and I'm curious how long ago this trend started.

In reply to Walco
pay attention and make sure you not missing the message, I was shocked last year after not watching TV for awhile, to see the number of gay commercials and mixed marriage couples they had.

You need to get with the program, the only reason I don't have an earring or a Tattoo is because I dislike needles and I am the conservative type.
But my Nail get done often wit a clear Nail Polish.
This is a topic Trinies should know about.

No I dont ....why the heck do I want to put nail polish on my fingers ?
barry can you explain why you have nail polish on your fingers?

It is like me putting deodorant on, I get my nails done and clear nail polish add colour.
My three children would enjoy any colour, because they know their mom and dad, has taught them to respect people.
I had two Gay friends, one committed suicide, the other moved to T&T from Grenada to hide, he moved to Canada to joined his sister, I saw a guy suffered daily because he was living a lie.
He had some good friends from T&T who were openly Gay, a couple of them had wives, but because of his upbringing he was never opened.
I knew he was Gay, from someone asking me if the bra and other clothing fitted me.

Buddy, what nonsense you just posted there
In reply to Walco
If you are talking about the guy with the big fro, (Eugene Daniels) he is gay. I saw that too and was shocked by it. Hope it is not a trend of men wearing nail polish.
In reply to black
who you hiding from?
In reply to sudden
Grooming is part of my regiment, so I do get my Nails done finished with a clear nail polish.
The main reason I would not wear color nail polish or have an earring is, I am conservative and not flashy.
In reply to Walco
The US military, this year 2021, just approved men wearing nail polish. No lie.

Clear nail polish has been used for manicures and pedicures forever. But I'm referring to colored nail polish, which I have never seen before.
In reply to DukeStreet
Colored nail polish or clear nail polish?
In reply to camos
The gay commercials were not surprising for me except the one with the big tall woman (maybe transgender) and the tiny little guy Those are commercials for an HIV drug, so I did not see them as out of the ordinary.
In reply to sudden
Stars or sparkles?

In reply to black
Yes, I think that's the same guy

The days of men with dirty and bitten-up nails are over.
In reply to Casper
That's exactly what Openning is saying.
He has reached the point where his fingers have become even more valuable, so it's good on him to make sure the nails are always 'polished'. Even better that he has decided to pass on the advice to his colleagues.
