I don't think it was just Simmons who made that decision, but your point is well taken. Gayle getting a lot more rope than Shiv got.

But Pollard said it is a "young" team and to give them a break.
Somebody should pass Pollard a dictionary. It is obvious he doesn't know the meaning of "young."

Most of these guys were playing IPL T20 cricket for the last umpteen year, and all of a sudden, dunderhead Pollard wants us to give them a break because they are a young team? Give me a break.

It seems the selectors are picking these guys on pass performances, nothing else.
If they were good five years ago, they are not anymore.

If I had to pick one of them, I would vouch for Marlon Samuels.
