So did Richards not display the same kind of racist attitude that AB is supposedly guilty of??
AB did not supposedly want colored on his team...and Richards only wanted Blacks..
But as usual everyone will go hiding..
I will not....and Richards irrespective of his affair with an Indian saw it fit to be RACIST in his selection policy.

Blacks are discriminated all over world.....be it India, England, South Africa , Australia,.....be it cricket, football, rugby,......most famous players are abused simply because colour......Richards was proud of his origin.... dominated world cricket, when England & Australia were considered epicenter..... Richards had affair with Indian....has a daughter.....his best friend Botham,an Englishman....he is simply proud black....

De Villiers.....not only wanted to drop Rabada but refused to allow Zondo to be selected in the playing XI .......

Please give an instance, where Richards, refused to select a player.....white or brown.....

In Antigua a bunch of guys came to me from all sides with disgusting remarks about Shiv and Sars and their brown skin as well as mine...
I laced into them and a lady from the tourist booth came

CITY, tell us how many players of the ethnicity Richards' apparently did not like could replace greenidge, haynes, dujon, Marshall, Gomes, and anyone of the quicks? Keeping in mind Brian Lara, whose 2nd innings in first class cricket was almost a hundred in 1988 versus Marshall and Garner, could not make the team. If there is, name him/them

Richards called the team his African team. I personally don't see any issue. The team was a team made of black people. Nobody said anything because nobody was offended by a statement of fact. Some politically opportunistic persons in Trinidad made a bruhaha and that has to be taken in the context that there was an election in TTO in 1991. These statements were made just before the Aussies tour of the WI in 1991. And for your information, the person who made the most noise, a former PM of Trinidad, received an apology from Viv. I wasn't even born then but its in newspapers and books. By the way, as we are on the subject of apologies, VS Naipaul ever apologize for any of the offensive, bordering on seditious statements he has made?
