His name is Jah
good yute
has been on team but not given many chances
In reply to Narper
so now the team got "Jah" and "Jah-son" ...should be unbeatable!
In reply to navindesigns
Dont be a skunt Navin....he has had his chances.... NEVER made use of any of them.
If he was any good he would have taken over from Dowrich....De Silva comes years after and became #1 keeper ....but the Jah man still there
Now he is permanent in the set up he doesnt have to perform at the regional level either
Same like Warrican.....they are permanent selections in any WI squad....for life
He won't play anyway, so what's your big problem?
In reply to Narper
One has to ask, do they need three wicketkeepers in a squad of 17 players?
A player scoring a century is selected, a bowler claiming the most wickets in the last regional series, then leading the attack in the Best vs Best is not selected.
Is this Opiss, Courtney Browne or Kraigg Brathwaite doing?
Hamilton is the best gloves-man in the Caribbean, but his batting is too inconsistent to be the number one keeper. However he must be well liked and a good team man to be included as much as he has been.

So he leapfrog ahead of Ramdin?
In reply to openning
Naah its Harper and Big Belly Simmons...they have their own personal agenda.
Seeing some of these posts, I thought the man has played 50 test matches already.
I couldn't believe when I saw he's just played one!
Now skunt Ramdin was someone you should have attacked, the man kept getting picked without doing anything
In reply to dayne
The best Gloveman in the Caribbean is Ramdin...by far
In reply to Narper
How many tests has he played?
In reply to Narper
Since the tour of England hearing Roger, I have put an X to his name.
In reply to brians_da_best
Check how many TIMES he has been behind the stumps for WI....and every time he looked cluesless....
In reply to Narper
So he's played 1 test and 1 odi. Is that a big sample?
In reply to brians_da_best
Look....if you follow the WI cricket closely you will know he has taken the gloves...as a relief keeper....and shit on his tail doing so.....absolutely clueless
In reply to Narper
I agree, he hasn't covered himself with glory, but usually people get 5-6 games to prove they belong or not.
Hamilton has had 2 across 2 formats.
That's all

After his initial selection to the WI squad, what has he done at the regional level with bat or ball.
Even his most ardent supporter VOR was disappointed time and again.
The fact is this guy id NOT getting better....being in the squad and not playing may have been a disservice to his development.
He should play a full regional season before any future selection
In reply to dayne
When was that?
In reply to Narper
There is no keeper more clueless than DaSilva. I cannot understand the love affair with him. Shai Hope should be the test and ODI keeper, and if Hope is injured or whatever, then the duties should go to Hamilton. DaSilva went to England as part of developmental squad, and due to the mishap with Dowrich found himself having to take the gloves, and since then they are acting like he is some front line keeper. He simply is not!
