West Indies fast bowler Jayden Seales has been reprimanded for breaching Level 1 of the ICC Code of Conduct during the opening day of the first Test against Pakistan in Kingston.

Seales was found to have breached Article 2.5 of the ICC Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel, which relates to “Using language, actions or gestures which disparage, or which could provoke an aggressive reaction from a batter upon his/her dismissal during an International Match.”

In addition to this, one demerit point has been added to the disciplinary record of Seales, for whom it was the first offense in a 24-month period.

I don't care. It tells me he is not a pussy. Fast bowlers must have the killer instinct. Don't take any crap.

When you watch clips from the past (even as far back as 10-15 years ago) you know that these bowlers and batsmen breaking these new ICC laws. I know that there should be a line, but..........

Well too bad his parents didn’t name him Broad or Anderson

Richie is always willing to come down hard to show ‘impartiality’… like the 2 blind mice on the field

Bottom line ...

Seales pleaded guilty to the offence and accepted the proposed sanction, so there was no need for a formal hearing.

He should be aggressive 'within the rules' Not gonna support him using foul language to succor his aggression. If it is not accepted it is not das all. As a Trini I am sure he has many humorous n sarcastic 'taunts' up his sleeve, use those.

This is the law...Article 2.5 of the Code of Conduct - Using language, actions or gestures which disparage, or which could provoke an aggressive reaction from a batter upon his/her dismissal during an International Match.

This is the news article..."The incident happened during the 70th over of Pakistan's first innings when Seales used inappropriate language towards Hasan Ali following Pakistan No. 9's batsman dismissal, stated the ICC."

how you conclude Foul language ?

The England players cuss all the time
All of them, all, except probably Moeen

But sanction the youngster because this is the Caribbean and we like nothing more than to punish people
