Did W.I dodge a bullet with Archer?

Given that he has only played six Tests, three ODIs and 11 T20Is since he was first troubled by the problem, the news is bound to raise question marks about Archer's future career. While he is, at 26, young enough to come again, it remains to be seen if he will opt to limit himself to a career in white-ball cricket in a bid to alleviate further such issues.

All the best to the young man though

Whether they did or not doesn't change the fact that our limited talent is being poached too easily.

If Joe Root had got his hands on Seales he would probably have bowled him into the ground until he had a hip dislocation or something like that. What Root did with Archer was criminal.

Anyone note that Seales was actually bowling within himself? He can and will get faster but not advisable to over-exert your self at his young age. But every time Archer was not at express pace the press and pundits would be on his tail implying he was not putting in the effort

Speaking of which, anyone know why Che Simmons was not in the under 19 set up in Antigua? He played in the trials in Barbados and has always been one of the first names on team sheet in age group cricket. Got a contract from Worcestershire (like Bethell)
