I did not see the game so I would like to hear about Oshane and Sherfane who both did well in the game. Based on their performances can they make the World Cup squad?

Sherfane should be in the WC squad! He has performed well across the globe!

Sherfane seems to be coming into his own. Still a bit scratchy, but I saw determination.
Thomas is still to fat. Needs to work at his fitness, and that is scary, because I think he can get quicker with a stronger core and more running under his belt.

Both Sherfane and Oshane were great. Bravo also. I can see Oshane replacing Castro in the WC squad, but Sherfane (and any other batsman for that matter) will have a tough time making the WC squad if the UB can make two likkle 50s in this tournament.
BTW, I think Oshane still needs to do some work on his fitness. He started out mostly in the mid-140s and was mostly mid-130s in over #4.

You would make that decision after one game?

They have both been in the mix before and if they replicate this form in 2 more matches do they have a good chance of making the squad bearing in mind their competition.
If you read between the lines the squad will be picked after each team has played 4 or 5 matches.

The Polly and Friends WC squad has been chosen already. Only injuries will give opportunities to others. That or Narine taking a chance and making himself available for the T20 WC.

U have every right to be CYNICAL.

And here I was thinking that my cynicism was well disguised and not detectible
Any more comments on the progress of Oshane and Sherfane?

Rampaul should tip Oshane for Edward's spot, helps that he's Trini as well!!!
Bravo should help Sherfane get into the squad but it'll be hard for him to get into the XI and would hate for them to have to drop Hettie for him but that's the only person they'll bring him in for!!!

Sherfane will take care of this problem all by himself. More runs in the CPL if he has to.

Ehhh according to Mr. Harper there's only a few spots up for grabs like an extra wicket keeper batsman and maybe a fast bowler so Bravo will have to convince Pollard & Simmons that Rutherford is needed!!!
In my opinion the only spot he can possibly be take is Hettie's current No. 4 position!!!
Oshane is shaping up beautifully, finding the line and lengths that he needs to sweep away opposing top orders. WI would be very foolish to not include and play Oshane. To include Rampaul, and especially Edwards, at Oshane's expense would be very foolish.
Both Oshane and Sherfane will continue to march through the CPL. The time for a new young brigade is now, guided by DJ Bravo and assisted by Pollard and JHo.
Those 2 (Oshane and Sherfane) have more than enough fire to to set the next World Cup afire. Add Hety, Pooran and Hadyn Walsh Jr and enjoy!

We will see. Harper has always been a clueless theoretician.
Sherfane replaces 42 year old Gayle, who can go as a cheerleader
Oshane to replace 39 year old Castro.

Yuh think he (Gayle) learnt well from that Baltimore area TV personality/cheerleader he had on his arm during the Green Lantern episode?
