I suspect that is the case.
Notice how all these handles hate God and Religion.....?
Match that to the biggest names on the board who share that passion.
Then add their interest in seeing traffic grow on site and their realization that such hate incites passions and voila.
While they keep their known identity above the fray, sparing themselves the constant attack and villification.
